About as fun a fish and seafood place as you might ever find so far from the Gulf. A local gem for Corinth dining. Catfish. Shrimp. Oysters. Crawfish. There’s gumbo and etouffe. Generally good service-sometimes they do seem pretty busy and short of staff. But go for the food and the experience of a truly local place. Yes. Many of the menu items are fried but live a little! They only area where they fail–cold slaw. Not the best effort. Hush puppies are good.

I’m from Louisiana and I’ve lived here for 13 years and this is the first time I’ve gotten anything from here and I am not impressed! I got a cup of gumbo, Christa’s special and a side of new potatoes. The crawfish in the gumbo were extremely fishy tasting, I’ve never seen brown étouffée like what’s on the special and the potatoes had absolutely no taste. I got home and had to add seasoning to make it anything like home. The étouffée didn’t have crawfish or shrimp in it so it was just a sauce of some sort. I am not impressed and to be honest I’ve had stuff out of a box that was better. The only good thing is the portion size. I do not plan on going back!!

The butter was just too garlicky and the shrimp could’ve used more season Now to the good, the service was good and the visit overall was good but the food could be better. Overall noy a bad place to eat just can do some adjusting to the food.

Shrimpboat has a lot of yummy food and the gator bites were very tasty. The service was good and it’s a bit pricey but worth it. The restaurant is ok, the food makes it worth it. Would eat there again

This place rocks! Excellently prepared fried oysters, fine but minute hush puppies with a hint of onion, good coleslaw and nice folks who know what they are doing (need to return to leave more tip ) This little hole in the wall place is going on my playlist ! Loved it. Minimal hours of operation though. Will take friends, too!

Traveling from Texas and visiting Shiloh National Park we stayed in Corinth and sought out places to eat, well this place was one that had great reviews and they were spot on. My wife had the grilled shrimp and I had the fried catfish and it ranked high on my list (and I love seafood). After dinner I had the pleasure of meeting the owners on the way out and they were some of the nicest people you could ever believe.
