This is the first time we’ve eaten here. The owner of Shirley’s is the same owner of El Gato Azul and Torme, here in Prescott. Now I can say I’ve eaten at all three of his restaurants. I can’t say enough good about all three. For Shirley’s, the food was very, very good. I had the Philly Cheesesteak. It was amazing. Made with Rib Eye steak. Oh so tender and mouth watering. I paired it with the home made chips. They were so good. My husband had the Torme burger, again with their chips. Our friend had the green curry. She said it was good. Her husband had the Rib Eye Philly, with the macaroni salad. He said the macaroni salad (home made) was excellent. We finished lunch off with their layered bananas dessert and their chocolate tort. These were amazing, also. The service was stellar. The atmosphere was robust, quaint, and cozy. This is a small restaurant that does and excellent business as there are always people waiting for a table. I can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes. I highly recommend Shirley’s Urban Eats.

I had a pleasant dining experience today at Shirley’s. I was dining solo and chose to sit at the bar which had 4 seats and a nice window view. I was promptly given an ice water with lemon and a menu. It was pretty busy but I was checked in on multiple times by most of the staff up front. I ordered the Cuban and for my side a chose the Mac salad. The sandwhich came out perfectly pressed and crispy without being greasy. It had the perfect cheese pull and was just what I was craving. The pasta had a delightful fresh herb flavor which was refreshing. It was a nice big lunch portion which I couldn’t finish and one of the servers offered to box it for me. Next time I really want to try their fresh juice blends and the Banh mi! For being open just a little over a week, they are doing great! Excellent service and food quality. I will definitely be back!

I have been to Shirley’s a few times with girlfriends and finally my husband felt left out, and I took him there for Valentine’s Day the day before I’ve never ordered from the menu as the specials are fabulous but this time I did order from the menu it was excellent
Then I saw the fried chicken and Cobb salad next-door to me at the table and thought awesome.
That menu is incredible. Please everyone go to Shirley’s Barry has done a fabulous job and the weight staff couldn’t be better more attentive thank you Barry and staff.
I do recommend reservations, as it is very small.

Highly recommend. I love that there are several substantial vegan options on the menu which is very rare to find in Prescott. The meals were delicious, full of so much flavor and very filling. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy. Highly recommend and will definitely be back

Wife and I ate at Shirley’s yesterday for first time. Food and service was average. Cuban sandwich was average and Rosemary French fries was recommended by a friend and highly recommended by waitress. Fries were good but had no rosemary taste nor signs of rosemary. Told waitress about such and she said they were tossed in rosemary which we doubted so I don’t recommend unless you want regular fries (she should have ordered another side to assure they were rosemary. Torme and El Gato much better which I recommend. Tables are so close together that a private conversation can’t be communicated. Visit his other places mentioned instead.

I had the pork Royale and devoured it. I bought the banana dessert to eat later and also enjoyed every bite of it. The staff was great, Barry takes the time to meet his guests, and the setting is posh yet intimate.

This place has delightful food but if you are gluten sensitive there aren’t many options here for you. The food is delicious. Our server was excellent. They need a better cocktail menu. They are constantly updating so give them a try.

Excellent New Orleans type lunch today!
Muffuletta, shrimp po’boy and bananas foster. Of course nothing can compare to actually being in New Orleans!
The young lady who was our server was excellent. I’m sorry I’ve forgotten her name.

My husband had the Philly Cheese steak, and I had the Cubana. Both were sensational, and the rosemary fries were to die for!
We sat outside…the seating is in a very narrow side yard. Only 4 tables (one for 4), inside is small as well, but we had no problem getting a table for lunch. Will be back! Go Barry!
PS…when possible, please make the Sangria here!

Grabbed lunch to-go and was very happy with the experience. The staff were extraordinarily friendly and the burgers were cooked to order. Unfortunately, I the sides were left unattended while working and my dog scored the remaining fries and all the slaw. The few fries I had were delicious, and the pup had more slaw than fries, so that must have been even better. I guess I know what I’m ordering next time.
