I hosted an intimate 12 person happy hour here in Sept 2025 to celebrate my fashion brand- MAPDesigns debut at NYFW and wow the exceptional service that we received was incredible! From the initial booking with Cynthia who was so attentive and lovely to work with, to Alberto and Stefany who were our warm serves on that day, my guests had an unforgettable experience. The drinks were fantastic and the food was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant, located on the lobby level of The Westin Times Square, and certainly look forward to returning! Thank you so much for your warm hospitality!

Breakfast downstairs in the morning (buffet), bar upstairs during the day and evening, and a limited dinner menu as well. Food is good for a small venue focused on alcohol.

Visited on a Thursday evening before dinner. Wanted to use our hotel dining credit and ordered a couple cocktails.
The Lavender Luxe and Midtown Shake ($21 each) were SO delicious and uniquely crafted. Really enjoyed the flavors and presentation.
Service was friendly and attentive. Prices as to be expected in NYC. Would recommend for a nice pre-dinner beverage.

Such a shame. Westin is a great hotel but my goodness we had the rudest, most intimidating server at the Foundry Bar! Actually shouted at us for daring to order at the bar not wait the 30 minutes for table service and left us feeling humiliated, embarrassed and really upset. Avoid, avoid , avoid. Great hotel that we’d thoroughly recommend but the Foundry Bar service was appalling.

I’m not sure what I was expecting from a hotel bar in Times Square but to be honest, I had an F&B credit with the hotel that they were charging me $40/day for so I figured I’d give this place a shot. If you’re trying to use your $20 F&B credit at the Westin Times Square as part of your Destination Fee – just know that a martini is going to cost you more – before the tip. Maybe try a beer. There seems to be a disconnect between the times the kitchen is listed as open in the elevator and the kitchen actually being open. Also, the post-theater food menu is VERY limited.
My dirty vodka martini was fine – nothing special. The service wasn’t great. Not a lot of great seating options if you’re alone. At one point I ended up a communal table with some ladies of the night – they didn’t proposition me, but they were propositioned while I was sitting there – by men who didn’t speak the language they did which at least added to the entertainment value.
And if you’re thinking of using that $20 F&B credit from your Destination Fee for breakfast here – just know that the breakfast starts around $30.

We had drinks and food here every night of our stay at the Westin. The servers are excellent. So friendly and efficient. Special thanks to Kall! The drinks were cold and the food hot. The menu is a bit limited for kids, but they were very accomodating and did just an order of fries and a bowl of ice cream when requested. We loved sitting in the window watching the people walk along 8th Ave. You’ll pay NYC prices. Really great place which I highly recommend.

Me and @ChefKG911 enjoyed our evening at the Foundry Kitchen and Bar. We didn’t feel like hitting up Times Square so we just hung here. The atmosphere was upbeat and full of energy, staff was customer focused and the food was delicious. This might be my go to spot in NYC.

The decor looks classy and the seating is varied so you get to choose the level.of comfort you desire. The wait staff was very nice and helpful. Our waiter was very attentive. The chicken quesadilla tasted home cooked (I was hoping it would be better than I could make myself). The Kobe beef sliders were very tasty. I ordered the chicken pot pie and when it came out it looked great but let me down with the flavor. The puff pastry on top tasted delicious but the chicken was very dry and there was not enough cream sauce to keep the flavor consistent. I barely ate half of it. All that being said, everything was overpriced. Each fountain soda was $6 and our total bill was over $130. Just not worth it to me.

I wish this place had more professional staff, but unfortunately ELEZ did not deliver the level of service we expected. A friend called us on FaceTime, and while we were talking, ELEZ claimed we were “too loud.” Instead of approaching us privately and respectfully, he chose to address it publicly, which was unnecessary and unprofessional.
It’s Thanksgiving Day, and it certainly felt like ELEZ was unhappy to be working and took it out on us. Someone in a customer-facing role should know how to handle situations calmly and professionally. Based on this experience, we won’t be returning. The behavior we encountered from ELEZ was unacceptable for any hospitality setting.
