We started with the ahi tuna tartare, which was impeccably fresh and beautifully presented. The flavors were bright and well-balanced, setting the tone for an excellent meal to come. The Caesar salad that followed was a classic done right, with crisp romaine and just the right amount of dressing.
For our mains, we ordered the jumbo scallops and the post oak ribeye. The scallops were perfectly seared with a golden crust on the outside while remaining tender and sweet inside. The post oak ribeye was cooked to perfection, with incredible flavor from the wood-fired preparation. The quality of the meat was evident in every bite.
What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure every detail of our evening was just right.
Bobbie’s Airway Grill proved to be the perfect setting for date night. The combination of outstanding food, professional service, and inviting atmosphere makes this a restaurant we’ll definitely return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special dining experience in Dallas.
The food is absolutely phenomenal, and you can taste the quality in every bite. If you’re a fan of seafood, you have to try the snapper—it’s genuinely to die for. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and plated in a way that makes it feel like a special meal without being overly fancy. It’s the type of dish you think about later and immediately want again. The flavors are balanced, fresh, and satisfying, and it’s the kind of seafood that makes you realize just how good it can be when it’s done right.
And let’s talk about the tuna sandwich—because wow. It’s not just good, it’s incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and made with the kind of attention to detail you don’t always find in a sandwich. The texture, seasoning, and overall bite are on point, and it’s the perfect option if you want something lighter that still feels filling and high quality.
If you’re more of a steak person, Bobby’s delivers in a big way. The steaks are delicious—tender, juicy, cooked exactly how you want them, and seasoned perfectly. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, because every plate comes out looking great and tasting even better.
Overall, Bobby’s Airway Grill is a must-visit. Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, and a menu that makes it easy to find something you’ll love. It’s the kind of place that turns into your go-to spot fast—and once you try it, you’ll understand why. Highly recommended!
We were greeted enthusiastically by the hostess who offered to store our luggage at her stand while we ate. It was early so the restaurant was not crowded. I loved the space between the tables. Even after it filled up it never felt overwhelming or noisy.
Our waiter, Spenser was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
Our drinks, Paloma cocktails, were delicious. I had the Tuna Frites and my husband had salad with homemade blue cheese dressing and filet. Everything was cooked perfectly and was high quality. Because there was an accident on tollway we stayed for dessert and enjoyed their carrot cake.
We thought the cost of the meal was reasonable considering we had multiple drinks and dessert.
We will be back again and hope Spenser is our server.
On my first visit, I had the Ahi Tuna Frites, and the tuna was as fresh as you would get in Hawaii, and the sauce was fantastic. The frys were equally as good.
I had the Poloma cocktail that was refreshing and made with fresh grapefruit juice. That said, I’m not sure it was worth $17.
Service at lunch was great. The two female bartenders working the bar were very friendly and competent.
However, in the evenings, the service at the bar didn’t match the quality of the food. Management should look at the bar service at their sister restaurant il Bracco or the Mercury and DL Macks as a reference for what good bar service is.
Now, on to the food—wow! I’ve had my fair share of crab cakes, but I can confidently say that Bobby’s serves the best crab cakes in Dallas. They were simply phenomenal, full of flavor and cooked to perfection and that sauce was perfection. If they put a poached egg on I would just fall over in pure delight.
Overall, I can’t recommend Bobby’s Airway Grill enough. The combination of outstanding service and great food guarantees that I will be returning time and again. This place has earned a lifelong fan in me!
