Dosa Shack is a modern Indian street food truck serving bold, fresh, and made-to-order dosas and street snacks in Austin. We reimagine classic Indian street food with a clean, contemporary twist — crispy dosas, flavorful fillings, creative sides, and our signature Doffles — all designed to be easy to try and exciting to eat, even if it’s your first time having Indian food. Our menu is vegetarian-forward, packed with big flavors, and inspired by street food culture rather than heavy curries. Everything is cooked fresh and meant to be enjoyed casually — perfect for a quick dinner, after-work bite, or weekend food stop. Can’t wait to have Dosa Shack cater our next event! Highly recommend them for anyone looking for flavorful food and top-notch service.
The bombay sandwich is bland and tasteless especially priced at 10.49 even the chips given to us are crushed ones from the bottom of the bag
Warning: The Paneer Tikka is spicy due to the jalapeños, but it’s really yummy with the sauce! I would recommend it for those who enjoy spice.
The Paneer Spinach Melt was indescribably delicious. It’s obviously not the healthiest in terms of fat content, but the flavors were wonderful. The sandwich had a great cheese pull, and the chutney added the perfect touch to this buttery melt. This is one of my favorites now!
The fried idlis are a MUST! I’ve had these and my family makes them, but the seasoning on the idlis with the flavor of the dipping sauce is simply perfection.
Their mango lassi was not overly sweet and just right. Next time, I want to try the Doffles! I’ve never had those.
The food was yummy, but did take a while to come out. This food truck is inside a food truck park, so there was some seating and one fan.
