I waited 15-20 minutes for an ice cream shake, then they made my shake and moved me to the end of the food line as they made someone else’s food. My friend’s shake just sat there and melted. I walked out.

First time going there and the people was just awesome the owner and another employee helped me get my food to the table and get settled. I use a wheelchair and I just really appreciated a lot. The food was just awesome I had the meat loaf and it was soo good it came with corn and mashed potatoes and a roll. Also got a potato salad and it was delicious. This was my first time going and it will not be my last. I definitely recommend.

My son/11 yr old and I have been coming in once a week for the last month or so. He orders the same thing every time. Cookie monster with banana cream ice cream. Basically an ice cream sandwich with cookies. I make him order so he can practice his public speaking. Never been an issue and service great up until this point. Today Deb waited on us. She had no clue what he even ordered even though the sign for it was right in front of her. She then gets really short and then asks me what his order is. I repeated it. She then stomps across the store and comes back with the 2 cookies and proceeds to tell me this isn’t on the menu. Again… it’s literally right infront of her on a stand. Have had no problems before from the other nice lady who has served us before. She amazing. Given the way Deb spoke to us, today was our last visit. I’m sure she won’t miss our $4. Shocked a business owner would treat a customer this way. And an 11 yr old at that.

Very cute deli in the downtown Cedar Rapids area. They have very delicious sandwiches and serve ice cream as well. It was my first time going and it was a delightful time. They were playing groovy 60s 70s music and it was like the universe knew Definitely a recommendation if you want something different

This is a great stop for lunch downtown. From fresh hot and cold sandwich ingredients to their yummy salads, there is always a huge variety of options. But their daily specials (check out this month’s menu online) keep people coming back just as much. They cater box lunches and have a variety of delicious baked treats. And of course a dozen different Ice Cream Flavors to choose from. You’ll never go wrong with this friendly staff.

I went in to try the food and ice cream my coworkers have told be me about. I spoke and asked the ladies if a bathroom was there. One immediately said NO! and walked off. I was thinking ok, let me hurry up and order so i can get to a bathroom somewhere downtown, as i approach the counter to the left is a Mens and womens restroom. These people are prejudice and i wouldnt reccomend anyone with a darker shade to enter their establishment. really hurt my feelings because i was excited to see what the hype was about
