Came here for my 16th birthday and had a great experience. The waitress was polite and friendly and the atmosphere was quiet. Although the prices were a little pricy, the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend to come to this place, for special occasions.

We dinally decided to try this spot after being recommended months ago, the atmosphere service was on point. The Hawaiian ribeye is what we both chose to get, although mine was a bit too charred on the outside it was still yummy. What I’ve been thinking about is that mascarpone cheesecake. I need to take the drive for another slice.

I frequently dine at the Elmwood location so was excited to dine here. Our first visit was dine-in and we had a great experience overall. The server was good and so was our food. I almost always order the French Dip sandwich and had no complaints. Fast forward, I’ve also ordered that sandwich for pick-up twice since. The first time = delicious. The second time, not so much. I arrived before the sandwich was ready and waited several minutes. The meat wasn’t really warm and the cheese wasn’t melted. It just wasn’t good at all. It was a turnoff and I don’t see myself returning to this location.

The quality of the food served here has gone downhill in a very short period of time. I have dined at the Metairie location near East Jefferson Hospital several times within the last couple months and it was the same quality as it has always been. I dined at the Covington location this past weekend and the food was terrible. The server was great, and the atmosphere was lovely, but whoever is running the kitchen or purchasing the food at least needs to be fired. Even the signature spinach and artichoke dip was not good. It was stringy and chewy as if it was filled with spinach stems instead of leaves.

Many times I will get their chicken tenders, which usually have awesome texture due to The tempura batter used, but I’ve had better tenders out of the frozen food section than what we served the other night. The batter was not the same, and even the thin cut french fries they usually serve with this dish were different, very thick and mushy. If you’re going to charge $28 for chicken tenders, they’d better be perfect.

My wife got the prime rib, which has been a favorite of hers dating back to when Boulevard was known as Houston’s back in the 1990s, and it was dried out and barely lukewarm.

This experience was nowhere near worth the $100 it cost us (we did not have any alcoholic beverages). I am hoping that this is just a Location specific problem and that the entire chain has not lowered their standards to this because I enjoy dining at the Metairie location when I’m across the lake at work.

1st time visit for a post Christmas dinner this was a special occasion. Orderd the bbq shrimp appetizer. Phenomenal! This was a home run , plump perfectly cooked over open wood grill. We specifically said we are dining wanted to spend time on each coarse in order. Appetizer, soup, salad, then main entree. Well appetizer then main coarse we said we haven had soup or salad. She (not our server) said I can put it under warmer. We said that will ruin food won’t be the same as fresh. We pointed it out to server when she came back and politely indicated that it was a fail after we explained how we wanted what I consider a normal flow of a meal. Server said that wasn’t how she put in ticket. In my opinion it is the servers duty to make sure the service flow isnt out of order especially when it was emphasized to begin with. Dont get me wrong our server was great other than not making sure the kitchen wasnt rushing. The restarants was not busy. Our server mentioned that kitchen had been in a rush on Christmas that maybe that’s why they pushed it all out. It still wasn’t in order. That being said the food was good and the wood grill added that special flavor layer. We will return but we will order one thing at a time and set our own order and pace. Our ticket was slightly reduced.

My wife and I love Boulevard for relaxing and a good meal. On this occasion I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich was perfectly grilled and seasoned nicely with fresh tomatoes adding a fresh touch. The fries that came with it were perfect, hot and crispy. On this day my wife got the French dip sandwich which is always flavorful and came with that beautiful au jou. I also got the special of gumbo which was duck and chicken I believe. The flavor was exactly what I would expect.

I got their signature old fashioned, and I simply cannot duplicate this at home. I guess I’ll have to keep coming back.

The one knock on this particular visit was service speed, too fast, not too slow. My wife and I both had appetizers. Like I said I had the gumbo and she had a salad. As the last bite of her salad was being eaten our entrees arrived. I guess this is just my own personal pet peave and not a universal grievance by everyone about a restaurant at this price point. Going forward, I will make a point of asking that the entrees get prepared at a later time so we have more time to relax and chat. This minor issue is why I forgot to take pictures of our entrees.

Regardless Boulevard is always a great experience

My family went there yesterday for Christmas, and oh my goodness! The food was amazing, we each had steaks that just melted in your mouth. So tender you could easily cut it with a butter knife. And the lemon cheesecake was to die for. Unfortunately, they were out of the blueberry compote, because that makes it 10x’s better, but still amazing on its own. So light and fluffy! The service was great, Kaitlyn was our server, and she did fantastic! Especially for how busy they were. Every table was full, yet the manager, Joey, still made sure to greet every table and kept things flowing. He made sure my 97 year old mother was taken care of and well attended to. We absolutely love this place and will, of course, be returning.

Zach was our bartender. He was perfect. The Happy Hour is cool but we still spent 200. Appetizers 11 @ Mini Dips yummy. Oysters only 3 but slaw thing yummy. Tuna classic and fresh. Star of the show the absolutely perfect crab cakes with Duck Dirty Rice. We will be back

i LOVE IT HERE SO MUCH! The staff is incredible and they make sure you are well taken care of. Like when i tell you i usually dont leave reviews but thats how you know that this place is top tier. They helped me decide what specific sauce I wanted and allowed me to try it before putting it on my steak.They make sure your 100% satisfied . I just all around love it here and i felt extremely welcomed. Liz the server was INCREDIBLE and her vibes are beautiful.The manager was extremely helpful and kind as well i love her. I just love it here they take good care of their customers. This is Liz make sure yall tip this beautiful lady everytime! She is awesome!!!!

This is a very nice place. A little on the upscale side. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger. I really couldn’t taste the bacon. It was very good and very expensive. $20.75 for a burger and fries. Again, very good and messy. Cooked perfectly, nice flavor, but the bun was no match for the burger. Towards the end it was mush. The service was iffy. It wasn’t busy and I had to request the waitress to come to our table. I needed refills of tea and to get the check. It’s not a problem when it’s busy, but she seemed more occupied with the host and another waiter up front.
