I waited several minutes for someone to finally come to my table. A gal came, asked if I’d been waited on yet (no, I hadn’t). So she took my drink order, then said she’d advise my correct waitress that she has a customer. The food was really good (when I finally got my pizza)!! It was kind of noisy in the place though. I got a phone call and had to unexpectedly leave, and the person on the other end of the phone couldn’t hardly hear me because the noise was so loud.

Just wow! We were traveling to our daughter’s wedding in KC and stopped in Jacksonville overnight. The pizza was amazing, staff was so friendly and the service was outstanding. I have lived all over the US and this was a great surprise in a little town.

A truly authentic Pizzaria experience nestled in the humble center of Jacksonville. If you miss a little bit of Italy; this is the place to be. I cannot recommend this enough for Parties, Wedding Rehearsal Dinners, Business Meals, or just going out with friends and family for a nice wholesome dinner. I hope you enjoy this place at least half as much as I did.

Dinner was at 5:30 p.m., but I was told 6 p.m. We arrived before 6, and my daughter and I were seated immediately with our large group, and both of us ordered. Her mostaciolli was served within minutes. However, after about 15 minutes, my spaghetti and meatballs had not been served. As some families had finished dinner and were leaving, I was served dinner after we reminded our server.

Having to be in Jacksonville on family business, never fun, Leos helped make the stay bearable. On our 1st visit of 2, I got the Rustica pizza and son got the meatball calzone. The calzone was full of melty cheesy goodness. It took him 3 tries to wind up the cheese to share a bite with me. That tells me the cheese was freshly shredded that day. How do I know? I worked as a pizza cook for an Italian restaurant in high school.

This place is great! Every time I come back there, they greet me with a friendly smile and a welcoming phrase. They are genuine and trully want to make my experience top notch. As far as food, it is a bit of a wait, but oh boy is it worth the wait. I’m tellin’ you: be patient and don’t nah them. The pizza is a OK, no matter the day, no matter the weather.

Only gets a second star cause the waitress was great! But other than that, the food was horrible! Worst spaghetti I’ve had in my life. Which I can accept a difference in taste buds, and the waitress was very accommodating. What has me refusing to ever go back in that sorry excuse for a restaurant was the owner and her actions after. She came out in a huff, not to accommodate or apologize, but to argue. She told me I was wrong and cut me off to defend her terrible sauce and burnt meatballs, but what set it over the edge was her demeaning attitude. Constant hand on the shoulder so I couldn’t stand up to leave and getting louder and more argumentative any time I tried to answer why and what I didn’t like about the meal. Idk how this place is in business with such horrible ownership and terrible pasta. Hopefully Jacksonville gets a good Italian spot, not this chef Boyardee/spaghetti-o/school cafeteria level “food”
