Ive been to this restaurant 3 times in the last 2 months and by far this place has THEE BEST Italian food in Rancho / Fontana Area
And thats not an exaggeration
Me & my lady ordered pasta plates , 2 crab soups , soda for me and my lady had a wine glass and we paid around $93 (waiter was tipped of course)

Worth every penny
Such a beautiful atmosphere and the waiter was extremely helpful (dont remember name but he had tattoos on both arms) very awesome waiter and the food is always consistent
(The Crab Soup is beyond tasteful and I genuinely comeback for it)
And my my spaghetti pasta was prepared amazingly well not to mention the meatballs were so perfectly made , could cut the meatballs with a spoon like butterrrr

This place is worth every visit and im always excited to eat here.
Will forsure be back

The family decided to get together for dinner. Our original plan was to go to a buffet, however due to the long lines to get in, we opted for something local. In this we discover Cara Mia; and Italian restaurant. With five and a half empty stomachs we decided to check out this spot; and we are glad we did. We were greeted and seated immediately upon our arrival. The staff was very friendly, attentive and made us feel like part of their family. From the food to the drinks and even the live music, we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Can’t wait to check this spot out again soon.

Came here around the holidays. There is no host at the door and with how the restaurant layout is, staff usually don’t know if there are guests at the door. The front desk just had a bunch of stacked towels and a dusty phone. Waited a couple minutes and then a larger group came in after us and they were seated before us. But we were still not acknowledged. It wasn’t until one of the cooks that came back in from break saw us and went to get someone? Already a red flag. They then seated us in the corner between this railing that leads to the exit door and the wall. Again, odd layout.

I do like that the staff are older though. They are more attentive at least when we were sat down. The food was decent, not decent in price though. Barely any chicken added to my pasta and they uncharge +$8 for it! Unbelievable. The whole place needs a visit from Kitchen Nightmares to be honest because everything seems so outdated. Seems like the patrons are just old folks and regulars too.

I made a reservation for 3 people. They’re not needed, but probably a good idea on Friday night. At first, I was a bit disappointed by the service. They seemed to be going through some transition and things felt disorganized. One table was reserved and set for another party, but no table was reserved or set for my party. There was a table available, so it wasn’t a huge deal, but it could have been unpleasant if the restaurant had been full. We also had to ask for menus, which felt off. However, as the night went on, the servers were very attentive and friendly. The food was flavorful and didn’t taste overly salty. My party had the Seafood Risotto (special), Ciopinno, and Salmon Linguine. The price was fairly reasonable compared to other eateries. My only real disappointment with the food was the lack of vegetables. We did get a large salad to share, so that somewhat made up for it, but it would have been nice to have some veggies with the entrees. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. I’ll try it again and hope for an even better one.

We had a wonderful dinner experience here! Saturday night had a live musician, but for those preferring a quiet scene there was seating for that too. The pastas were spectacular, and the aurora sauce with the ravioli was a nice twist from other ravioli sauces. Overall, the menu is a bit pricey for the selection and portion, but the food was great.

I enjoyed the ambience of this place; live music & dinner is a plus. The penne Al la Vodka was good and not heavily salted. It’s overpriced to add protein to the pasta. The bread was nice and warm. We’re glad we tried it and will be back.

We decided to check out this place the other night. We’ve been meaning to do so since earlier in the year. First, impression, the location wasn’t the most ideal. A bit dark and tucked away towards the very back of the strip mall we used to frequent for the now-closed salad place. We waited a few minutes to be greeted and shown to a table. We then waited quite a while to flag down a waiter to take our order but he failed to mention the specials of the night. One staff member was memorable, their busboy! He was friendly and attentive and the first one to really address us and our needs. Prices are a bit high for pasta that was below par, in my opinion. My penne was overcooked, way more than my preferred al dente. The alla vodka sauce on mine lacked the depth of flavor other restaurant’s versions had. My husband’s angel hair was, you guessed it, over-cooked. His dish overall was under whelming. The positives: the calamari was good, and so was the Marinara dipping sauce it was served with. The ciabatta dinner rolls were served warm and toasty and had the perfect chewiness I expected. Based on our experience that night, we are not inclined to return. There are other mom-and-pop pasta places in the area that are worth our patronage.

My family came here on a Sunday evening for a birthday dinner. It was a chill night for us. However, we were surprised that there was live music! It was a nice touch.

Food ordered:
– crab cake = not bad
– bruschetta = a bit salty for my taste
– bacon wrapped dates =
– tortellini =
– salmon linguine = alright, something was missing but couldn’t figure out what
– house lasagna = nothing special
– spaghetti and meatballs =
– chicken parmigiana =

Unfortunately, we felt a bit rushed. They checked on us once if we liked our food. Next thing you know they were asking us if we needed a box. We packed our stuff and just paid. It wasn’t a busy night either.

I will come back to try other meals before I wrote them off. I’m hopeful but not optimistic.

Atmosphere =
Service = nice people, not rude, just felt rushed out
Food = some were salty, some were missing something, will try others

Absolutely delicious. Best Eggplant Parmigiano and Penne al a vodka. Large portions. A bit pricey for protein . Flavors on point. A MUST TRY.
