I went in today for a cheesesteak. Upon entering, there were employess huddled up by the drive thru. I wasn’t greeted. I had to speak first to them. As the guy caahier came up to take my order, I asked questions pertaining to what size and type I wanted. I opted to go with the large Triple Cheesesteak with Naked fries. A female came to the grill to begin my order. I saw that there weren’t enough veggies for a large sandwich, so I asked her for more veggies. She said, “You goin have to pay for it, as if to say I didn’t have it. So I said No problem and the guy came back to register to ring me up for additional veggies. I noticed her looking and i said “can you put the veggies on the grill so they will be cooked with the first ones? To my surprise she said she was waiting for me to pay Are you serious lady? I just bought $20 worth of food and you’re gonna wait to see if I have an additional $1.30? At that point, her disposition and mannerisms with the giggling and unconcern about my order demanded that I request a refund. She was rude, crude, and thoroughly unattractive. I requested the Owner or GM contact information, and she handed me a blank piece of paper and said I AM THE GENERAL MANAGER, I said no you’re not. I asked her name, she wouldn’t give it to me so I told her I will find out and she said yeah you do that.
The owner needs to seriously find someone who can better represent this business. This female didn’t even attempt to descalate the situation. I will drive out of my way to patronize any different Steak Escape other than this one.

my sandwich had ranch on it which I stated no rach..ok cool accidents happen sat there another 15m for them to make another sandwich wrong again no cheese or onion well dam no hey here is a drink or a fry while u wait nothing. They really try and cut corners not giving what u pay for..I’ll give A plus for messing my food not 1 but 2x. Oh don’t worry I’ll take miles to go elsewhere..pissed

Food is not fresh the bread is either hard or crunchy portion sizes very little you don’t get much I have tried to eat here several times but the staff seems like they just don’t care or always in a disappointing mood… I just wish they were as good as any other steak escape

“Hi! I want to give a glowing review of the Steak Escape that my husband, sister and I went to in Byram, Mississippi today. I consider myself a Foodie, and the the food there is absolutely amazing! I had the Black and Bleu sandwich, and omg, it’s the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time! I love the uniqueness of the ingredients and flavors together! I also had the Loaded Fries, and those are incredible as well!
It’s been many years since I’ve been to a Steak Escape, but I believe the food at the one in Byram is even better than the one at Northpark Mall in Ridgeland, Mississippi!
I also love the atmosphere at the Byram store! And the staff is wonderful and friendly!
My husband, sister and I got to talking to the manager, Trina, and we had a delightful conversation with her! Her outlook on running a restaurant is exactly what I would want in a manager, if I had my own restraunt. This was my first time at this restaurant, but after my interaction with some of the employees, and the manager, it feels like a place that I would actually want to work at, and it definitely made me want to come back and visit again! It felt calm, welcoming, and the employees seem like they actually enjoy being there.
Which brings me to the cook there, Nick. I stood at the counter watching him cook our food, and I was actually captivated by watching him work the griddle! He is an excellent cook! And seeing his skills with the tools while he was shredding the meat, adding all the other ingredients, and making the sandwiches, felt like I was watching a seasoned pro! It actually made me want to go stand by him at the grill, and have him teach me how to do what he does! lol I LOVE to cook, and I love learning new cooking skills and techniques!
And Christian is the young man who took our order. He seems a litte quiet, but he was really nice, and does his job really well, also!
In closing , I want to say that the Steak Escape in Byram, Mississippi has become my new favorite sandwich restaurant, and I believe it, and it’s employees and manager, Trina, are a great asset to your company! And I believe they deserve some type of award and/or reward ! I look forward to my next visit to this particular restaurant!

If I could give one star I would! I stay in Byram, and I would rather go all the way to Northpark mall location, before ever coming to this location again! On two different occasions my meat was under cooked for the ragin Cajun! And it’s no flavor! They will be closed soon! Lawsuit or lack of business!
