We are a Detroit based restaurant featuring Irish, Italian and German inspired comfort food. We have our own organic farm located in Tecumseh, Michigan, that during the growing season we are getting most our produce from. We also source as much of our products from local vendors. We are a full service bar with 9 taps of local breweries, a selection of Irish whiskeys, Scotches and Bourbons. We also featured craft cocktails and a hand selected wine list.
A menu inspired by Irish, Italian, & German fare in light-filled, industrial space with a full bar.

The only thing that would’ve made our stay better is being able to pay a buck or two for a little bit of real maple syrup versus the fake (syrup that they serve (high fructose corn syrup, no maple syrup in it) :(. But all in all it was a great experience.
Tell John what you like and he will find the perfect drink for you and maybe even step you out of your normal drink box.
Brunch or dinner are fantastic, selection is perfect and portions are large. I love the steak bites and the Dubliner cheese, can make a meal out of those every time.
We recently took our office staff out and sat at a table for once. Service was great, John even came out to the table to see that everyone was doing well and get them the perfect drinks.
The kitchen staff is really on top of things, so if you are ready to order make sure you are ready to eat. The food comes out fast and looks beautiful.
Just an all round wonderful place…
We went on Saturday for a dinner, could sit without waiting. Spacious inside, good atmosphere with nice lighting. The waiter man was very nice. I ordered MDBJ Burger, it was big and tasted good, looked nice too. The price is fair about 20 bucks.
The interior space is open and airy, with high exposed beam ceilings. There’s bar seating, and an assortment of 4-6 seat tables, plus a number of very long 15′-20′ tables.
I arrived a few minutes late, and trying to flag down our server took more effort than expected. Once I’d ordered a drink and food, service was on point.
One HUGE plus for me was the water! Detroit tap water is infamously chlorinated and hard – Cork & Gabel filters all the water served to diners. I typically don’t have ice in my drinks, but I had forgotten to order my cocktail ‘up’, versus on the rocks. The jumbo cube of ice was clear as crystal! And the free glass of cool clear water (without ice nor straw) was refreshing. I greatly appreciate this extra effort and expense Cork & Gabel go to for their diners!
Maybe I just looked like I dont fit in cause I dress down, but that shouldnt decide service.
