Excellent service. Food quality hit and miss (of course taking price into account). Parmesan quiche wasn’t cheesy enough. Sandwich with Brie was really good. Avocado toast also great. Croissant baklava’s filling was too little. Atmosphere was ok. Other patrons weren’t too loud but the corny French music cheapened the vibe. Might come back and try different things.

Amazing food and pastries. Started with scone, croissant, and maple bacon bun. Fresh, buttery, and delicate. Had duck confit hash, crispy, distinct, and flavorful. Egg on top help to mellow the taste and aroma. Wife liked the crab crepe and daughter said the quiche was “fire”… I think that means really good. Finished with desserts and again it speaks for itself. Highly recommend.

If you’re in Santa Barbara you must visit Alessia. The croissant sandwich was delicious. We ordered vanilla oat milk cortados which were the best cortados we’ve ever had. And this fig honey dessert was perfection. The perfect way to start our Sunday. Thank you Alessia.

I don’t know where to start. Everything is delicious. There is outdoor seating along with tables and a large counter indoors. Although you still may need to wait for a seat.

We have purchased pastries and dined in several times at Alessia’s. Everything has always been delicious- some of the best croissants we’ve ever had. Food presentation is beautiful and breakfast is top notch. Recommend coming here if you’re looking for a sweet spot in Santa Barbara!

Their pistachio croissant was phenomenal. Other pastries were delicious, but you have to try their croissants. They’re pricier than regular croissants in other cafes, but you’d know why their croissants cost a little extra. They’re just so much better. The same probably goes for other food items on the menu. I’d try getting there early (or late in the afternoon) as the place gets crowded very quickly.

We thought the coffee’s boldness, kick, and sourness were great, but there was a strange aftertaste. The pastries had decent flavors, and we felt they were freshly made. They also had good texture and appearance.
Overall, we are happy with the experience and glad we have visited the place.

Hands down these were delicious pastries. We got the pistachio creme croissant and would recommend! We even got it again the next day and ordered additional croissants (Baklava, almond chocolate). The cafe does get quite busy with the small dining area filled, but there were also seating outside which the staff would bring out your order to you
