When I walked in it smelled like straight cigarettes, and it’s not because it’s next to a cigar bar… there was another restaurant there before and it never smelled like smoke!! even the customers in there said a scent need to be lighted.. The customer service was good! Food was decent also! For some ppl it can be a turn off walking into an establishment and it smells like cigarettes. Everything was seasoned well. the red beans and rice could have used a little salt and pepper, but it didn’t bother me I don’t use to much seasoning anyway! The wait was about 15 mins not bad!! This place is located in a gas station lot next to the cigar lounge.

The picture on Doordash of the catfish with beans and rice DO NOT give this justice. There are two massive filets with this perfect blend of spices that complement the catfish but let’s it’s flavour through. The beans and rice are amazing also. The smokiness is beautiful.

Firstly, customer service is top tier. Boss Lady greets you with a warm welcome and sends you out the door with love. Now to the food, chefs kisses. I ordered ox tails which comes over rice, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese. This also came with cornbread but baby, it was so fresh and hot!! Flavors on ten. Highly recommended this new spot.

True to the name!!! Ordered the catfish po boy and it was huge. Bread was soft, fillet was cooked great, and the sauce was delicious. Mac and cheese is ON TIME. Will definitely come back.
