It’s definitely worth the stop if driving by, or make it your destination, and you won’t be disappointed. The wine bar is comfortable and cute, with views of the Harding County prairie.

Such a beautiful restaurant and Chef Ron is amazing! The food was fresh, hot, and one of the best meals that I’ve ever eaten! Gorgeous wine room with beautiful decor and one of a kind gifts and souvenirs for sale, great place for a date night, family dinners, and catering. Will definitely be back! My new favorite restaurant!

We called ahead to see what their hours were and when we showed up, we were told the chef had something special planned for us- a bison tomahawk steak, shrimp stuffed shrimp with pasta, salad, and delicious cheesecake desserts! So so amazing!! And everything was homemade. We cannot recommend them enough.

Hands down the nicest people we’ve ever met. Eldon and Chef Ron were so nice and welcoming. The food was fantastic. We stopped in on a long road trip and were very, pleasantly surprised. The milkshake I got was an Oreo milkshake and it was the best milkshake that I’ve had in a long time. This was my first time traveling through South Dakota and I like this place. The lady and the gentleman that was there were very polite and the decor of the place was a cool theme. It reminds me of a modernized Western cowboy style decoration. It’s definitely a spot to check out if your driving on Hwy 85.

I can’t say enough good things about Crow Buttes Mercantile, Chef Ron, and Amy. The food is always amazing. The service is exceptional. You are treated like family rather than a customer. My husband made a last minute call to see if they could fit us in, as it was my birthday. They took care of us with the best lobster and tomahawk steak you could sink your teeth into. And then to top it off, we had the most scrumptious ice cream with a strawberry kick. It was a flavor explosion for the tastebuds! I just wish we weren’t so full from the steak. I would definitely come back just for that ice cream! It sounds cliche, but if you get a chance, you have to stop. Don’t rush by and not stop at this treasure.

We stopped by because we were in the middle of nowhere and were getting hungry, while on our family vacation roadtrip, not knowing what to expect. Oh my word!!
The food was AMAZING. We had enough left overs to eat the next day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone driving in that area of SD. If I lived close by, I would be a frequent customer but Georgia is just a little out of the way. Please stop by and experience this place for yourself. You will not be disappointed nor will you leave hungry.

Amazing little place! They were closed between services and opened for us and another couple. So gracious and the food was some of the best we have had for days on our trip. The chef was great to talk to and again made the best burgers and fries. The wine tasting was a added bonus! Thank you again!
