The food was absolutely fantastic. Chips and salsa were very good, great salsa. I also got queso-birria tacos, absolutely phenomenal. My first time having that dish, and it was so so good. I also got Polla con crema, and it was probably the best or second best polla con crema I’ve ever had. Overall, the food was great. I will almost certainly return here.

Stopped here on the way back from Greensboro for a quick dinner wound up really enjoying the atmosphere and food. It was the day after my son‘s birthday so we had them sing to him. Would totally go back.

Husband and father in law went there for lunch yesterday (03/04/26) on the way back home from work. Both of them are now sick with food poisoning. They both had stated the food wasn’t good, both orders tasted stale/old upon receiving them and the cleanliness of the restaurant could have been way better. Staff were somewhat friendly though.

I dined at Queso Salsa for the first time yesterday afternoon. I was searching for a new favorite Mexican spot, and I have definitely found it. I don’t remember the exact name of my dish, but it was basically shrimp fajitas served in half a pineapple with queso melted on top. It also came with chicken, but I asked for it with only shrimp, so they are willing to accommodate special dietary needs. I was also given tortillas, so I mixed my shrimp and vegetables with rice, beans, and salsa inside the tortilla. The grilled pineapple added so much delicious flavor to the dish. My Texas Margarita was also on point with plenty of tequila and had a perfect balance of liquor and mixers. The staff was also impeccable with friendly, attentive, and fast service with a smile. I immediately told my friends and family about Queso Salsa and will be back very soon.

Older beat up, building kind of small inside overall. If you go for lunch, you could probably get in or an early dinner. And have seating.. we thought the food tasted really good. The price was reasonable and the service was good. However, I had some tummy issues. The next day and I ‘m not sure if it was related to what I ate even though what I ate wasn’t spicy… i will give them one more time as a benefit of the doubt.

Don’t order for to go, these people are incompetent packing orders to go. The only reason I keep ordering from there is because I’m working near by and to save time I place an order over the phone and last two times from DoorDash. They don’t send forks or napkins it’s supper expensive and can even get an order right. Ordered birria fries and asked for no SC and still put it on … they sent my birria fíes with no avocado. I called and complained and they are just INCOMPETENT full of excuses. $68.00 thrown in the trash!

It felt like I stumbled upon an oasis in the middle of the Sahara Desert when I walked into this restaurant in mid June. I showed up a weary traveler in search of some nourishment. They greeted me with open arms and gave me some of the most attentive service I’ve had in a long time.

You wouldn’t expect to find such a fine establishment in the middle of Salisbury, North Carolina, but this state is full of surprises. When I sat down, I was teleported into a beach side restaurant near the shores of Cabo, Mexico. The waiter recommended the burrito Mexican, so I obliged. He did not disappoint to say the least. The portion was massive, and every bite left me wanting more. The blend of meat and queso deliciousness disappeared in an instant. This pair with a cold Dos Equis has officially made this the greatest Friday of all time. The best part of this all is the check came out to $22. In this economy? Get out of here.

If you have the opportunity to visit this hole in the wall, I highly recommend. But be warned, you will be a regular visitor. Salud!

Food was OK, salsa was OK, took forever to get my daughters food and that was after 7 other dinners had been ordered in our party. The atmosphere was OK nothing special. That bathroom was freezing, only 1 single bathroom for the ladies. Not a repeat place to go to.
