Cozy, clean space with great ventilation—no smoky smell! Fresh, high-quality meat that’s juicy and flavorful. Reasonable prices for the quality. Highly recommended!

Really loved this place. Their Korean bbq was better than I expected as well as their hot pot. They have a side bar with appetizers and sauces. As well as Ice cream. The bbq menu was really nice and the short rib was delicious. As well as their octopus is a must try. Its a good place to hang with the friends and family.

Me & hubby stopped for lunch which was 20.99 a person. Soda, Chinese buffet & the hot pot was included! You can’t beat the price! Everything was delicious, the workers were all so great, Jean was our server he was on top of everything we didn’t have to ask for any refills no extra broth not even napkins. (He is new himself but you wouldn’t know that if it was never mentioned) Very welcoming everyone helped each other out any question they were there to help. We will definitely be back!!!

Vegetarian friendly, at least for the Hot Pot option. Let the hostess know ahead of time that you eat vegetarian or vegan and ask for a reduced price, don’t expect half-off or any crazy, just a couple of dollars to acknowledge that you won’t be eating the more expensive items.
Today we did this and were treated fairly and were given clear guidance on what is and is not vegan. They were helpful, kind and fair.
The food was good, with enough options to create exactly what you want.
I tasted the vegan soup bases and decided to create my own from hot water and the extensive sauce bar. This was perfect for me. Others selected their favorite base and enjoyed their meal very much!
I highly recommend this alternative to a standard buffet! It’s fun to cook your own food and get as much as you want.
While the staff is very attentive, your food isn’t served to you ready to eat, you have to invest some effort, it’s part of the experience.

Came here on a Thursday night. Barely anybody was here, about 7 tables. Got seated right away. Base hotpot is $33 n with BBQ is $5 more on 12 Dec 2024. The BBQ hot about 20 meat items plus veggies. The hot pot has more selections. The spicy octopus was mushy after cooked so I think it was not very fresh. Otherwise, most of the items were above average. There were a sauce do it yourself table n a small appetizer selection n banchan selection.

Hi pot Pottstown was delicious! The staff was super friendly. We plan on going back to try the other broth choices because they all sound delicious. The beef belly was especially delicious and Eddy the waiter was a delight, everyone was super nice and made excellent recommendations. With beef prices what they are, Hi-Pot is a bargain.

Three dining options available: hot pot, Korean BBQ and buffet. I went with just the buffet so review is not on the hot pot or bbq part. Buffet is standard Chinese buffet with the usual dishes. Sushi was okay. Nothing really stood out, everything was just okay. Didn’t see much turnover on the dishes so might be better to go during peak hours when food is fresher.

Just walked out of Hi-Pot in Pottstown. It’s more like 4.5 stars. I’ve seen a lot of potentials of this place, but there’s room for adjustment/improvement as they are still quite new.

Here is what I like: 1) it’s very spacious, plenty of room even when it’s at its full capacity; 2) seating is comfortable, all booths, which is quite rare for a hotpot and bbq place; 3) service is attentive and friendly; 4) it’s all you can eat, but the server brings food to your table instead of your going to fetch them yourself, which means it’s more organized; 5) MOST IMPORTANTLY, ingredients are of decent quality comparing to other all-you-can-eat hotpot/bbq establishments.

Here is what I think they could do better: 1) the interior decor, though fun (they have animated images projected onto the wall), is a bit tacky to my taste, but this is a minor criticism as hotpot/bbq isn’t meant to be the most romantic place for dates anyway; 2) although they have all kinds of sauces, the layout of the sauce bar isn’t ideal—having double rows can easily cause sauce at the inner row to drip into the outer row when customer is getting the sauce; 3) warm snacks, such as the spring rolls, fried dumplings are kept together with salad instead of on food warmers, which means likely you’ll be eating cold spring rolls and dumplings.

Overall, I’m happy with my dining experience. I think it’s a valuable addition to the dining scene in the area. You can go shopping at the outlet nearby and have your lunch or dinner here.

The Korean barbecue was good, but the buffet kind of sucked. The food was clearly not fresh and sat for a while. I wasn’t the only one who noticed. Then we we paid and didn’t tip on the card they came to the table to confront us they asked if we would tip in cash. Then when we said no they got upset and continued to ask why we weren’t tipping and if we didn’t receive good service or like the food. Which is kinda funny because everything was fine up until that point.. not to mention there was a very large service fee.
