i got the street tacos with carnitas and they absolutely delicious. also enjoyed the mild green sauce. food came out hot and less than a 5 min wait on a friday. area is a bit shady but during the day i’m sure it is fine. excited to try more of their menu!

We’re from Austin, TX but just happened to be in the area and that’s where our Google map took us to when we searched for best Mexican food in Tallahassee City. The food itself literally was so so good and in our opinion we think y’all food actually taste better than some of the Mexican restaurants in our town for sure. My husband and I ordered El Tio’s Specialty plate, both of our daughters ordered Street tacos and Chicken Tradational Quesadilla. The meats and everything so fresh, juicy and flavorful. Really recommend and we will stop by again for sure if we come to Tallahassee area again in the future. Y’all deserve 5 stars from us.

Amazing food!! We had some chorizo street tacos, Al Pastor burrito and quesadilla birria. Made our evening. We’re from San Antonio passing through and staying at an Airbnb nearby. This spot makes San Antonio tacos look like amateurs. Super friendly and the flavor was spot on! Totally worth the visit. If I am ever back in Tallahassee I’ll be back. We were mad that we didn’t order more cause it’s that delicious!!!

What a Hidden Gem . The food was top tier! My family and I were so happy and full. Everything tasted incredibly Fresh. They have mastered authentic Mexican food that comes with large portions for a good price. My burrito had so much meat in it and was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend!

This is easily one of my top three taco spots! I keep coming back to El Tio Mexicano whenever I’m craving some messy, flavorful, and juicy tacos.
This food truck consistently impresses me with amazing food at an unbeatable price. Honestly, their food rivals most of the Mexican restaurants I’ve tried.
However, during my last visit, the meat was a bit drier than usual—not sure what happened. But I’m still giving them five stars and hoping the food quality stays top-notch!
