We had tried Amber about 6 years ago when it was different owner. Everybody was real nice but we weren’t very impressed with the food. We finally made it over today & we were delighted how much better it is!!! We had the Cheese & Broccoli soup & it was SO good! Tons of potato and broccoli in creamy cheesy soup. I ordered the Chicken Tenders then held my breath. A lot of places have dried out chicken tenders. They were crispy on the the outside & very tender inside. Came with fries & veggies & they were also perfect. They have good fry sauce also. We’ll be back!!!! [Update] Their French Dip Sandwiches are the BEST!!!! Tender & juicy & REAL swiss cheese!!! The beef was piled on & it had the BEST flavor.
And now they’re open till 8pm Tuesday – Saturday!

Terrible potatoes with the breakfast plates. Nice place, good food, great service, but the potatos! Basically boiled potatoes ran through a slicer make some proper hash browns for goodness sake

The omelets, skillet potatoes and pancakes are all amazing. Go for the boysenberry syrup. I’m not usually a syrup person but that was great.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality and great service I got here. It looked pretty old and run down on the outside and the inside was dated as well. I ordered a breakfast skillet with pancakes. The food came out delicious, warm and super fast! The waitress was super nice and made us feel like old friends! Would definitely go back!

I have always loved this place. I always order breakfast when I go. The building is very old and run down and might scare people away but the food is good and a great price.
The last time we went my husband got steak and eggs and ended up very sick. I’m afraid the steak was either old or not handled well. It only happened the once but it’s hard to go back after that.

Simple but delicious menu, great service and a beloved old location. The new management has shaped it right up. The food is really good and the waitresses are super friendly. Get the open faced roast beef with mashed potatoes, unless you go on prime rib night. Then get that. You won’t be sorry.
