Buffalos, located in the heart of Wilson Village, is a favorite gathering place for all and a community staple at Palmetto Bluff. Offering Lowcountry coastal dining, Buffalos recently underwent a complete renovation and menu refresh, sure to delight residents, guests, and visitors of the Bluff. The new menu includes an oyster bar with rotating daily offerings and fresh, locally sourced seafood and produce from the Palmetto Bluff Farm. Guests can choose from an extensive wine list or sample signature cocktails to tantalize their taste buds. Dinner reservations are now available Thursday through Monday, between 5 pm and 9 pm. All guests can make dinner reservations up to 30 days in advance by calling.

Just had lunch and thought I would share our experience.
Wait staff friendly, but having tables inside and outside is difficult for great service.
We wanted to sit outside, but was told we had to sit inside for a party of 2?
Food- my husband had the taco soup. He was asked if he wanted bread with it. He said sure! Bill comes and 3 small slices of Crostini bread was $5! I believe he should have been told of the up charge.
I had the tuna melt. It was good, but just a grilled tuna sandwich for $18.
We don’t dine there often, so we will probably not be back again for sometime.

So good!! The food here is really excellent. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. The outside would be especially nice in the fall or spring when the weather is cooler. (the church directly across the street is beautiful). My family and I came here twice on our vacation to Palmetto Bluff, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the food was excellent. My only complaint is that the menu was basically the same. (I would’ve hoped for some different dishes since many people dine here multiple times throughout their stay because there are very limited options on Palmetto Bluff itself). The staff were generally friendly and attentive to my large party. I would certainly come back here and recommend it to other visitors/vacationers.

Menu was a little limited, but my main issue is that my salmon was very undercooked. It took a while to get our server to come back to the table. She seemed to be busy chatting. Finally got another server to take my meal back to be properly cooked It was brought back pretty much in the same condition… by the time that had transpired, my appetite was gone. Same thing pretty much happened to my wife who ordered the Mahi, also well undercooked

Outstanding Mother’s Day breakfast! Service was impeccable! I worked in the hotel industry in NYC, various mgt roles over the years at The Waldorf=Astoria, The Plaza, W Hotels, Omni Berkshire and Kerry Ann our server was phenomenal! Outstanding job Montage team, she is a true servant leader! Food was very good as well. I now work as the Hospitality Realtor, but it is such a pleasure to watch and be on the receiving end of such awesome service.

Couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience! Our server, Jordan, was AMAZING! He noticed we were uncomfortable with our seating without us having to say anything, remembered details we’d said about ourselves, was accommodating, and EXTREMELY well spoken and well versed on the menu. The food was great, and all the staff felt intuitive to our needs. I felt welcomed and like every member of staff— from chefs to servers to management— was happy to have our group, even when we had a couple of accommodations made.

Meh. We arrived at 6pm to a pretty dead restaurant on a Thursday. The menu is fairly limited but usually that means strong focus on perfecting the dishes that are offered. Unfortunately, thats not what happened. Very average food for moderate prices. The meatball was dense and mostly filling, leaving that familiar texture when there’s less protein than binder. The oricchiette was supposed to be house made pasta with shrimp and chorizo in a lemon butter sauce but was one note, tasting only of the chorizo which was under spiced to begin with. Not much of a sauce but more of a pool of chorizo oil. We had come for lunch pre remodel several times, but this new iteration isn’t it.
