First of all, we were here to celebrate a birthday and communication over email for large group was very quick, professional, and accommodating. They were able to seat all 12 of us at the same large square table, which made talking to each other much less challenging than other elongated seating solutions. The waiter – Ryan – was super friendly and made every effort to make us feel special.
Next, the food itself was great. I highly recommend the sourdough bread. The cucumber and gem lettuce was just okay, but you didn’t come here for rabbit food, you came for the divine glory of pizza. And boy, they were good. The table filled with ooo’s and aaa’s when pizza was served, and everyone loved what they got. I think the favorite was mushroom.
Finally, the atomsphere was nice. It wasn’t too loud, but busy enough to feel festive. Only thing you should know is that parking is tough. Plan to get there a bit early to find a spot.
Very interesting toppings I haven’t seen other places.
Also you can witness the chef twirl and throw pizza dough in the air which I found fascinating (he didn’t drop it once!)
The staff is very friendly and the ambiance was great with a live dj spinning. That said the volume was fairly loud inside so if you don’t like that sit on the patio where it is more quiet.
All in all highly recommended.
Ah, the pizzas. That dough—chewy, airy, and charred just right. The margherita pizza was a near flawless classic, and the seasonal kimchi pizza was a bold, unexpected success. A flavor collision that worked. Given how exceptional the dough and execution were, I suspect every pizza here is a winner. I paired it with an aperol spritz which was fine, but the pizza was the focus.
Service is warm and friendly. The heated patio made for a relaxed setting, while inside buzzed with energy, and even a DJ on select nights. LA’s pizza scene is stronger with Grà in it.
We also ordered the burrata served with their homemade sourdough bread, which was a delightful starter that showcased their commitment to quality ingredients.
Our server Dylan deserves special recognition – he was not only attentive but impressively knowledgeable about both the food menu and wine selections, elevating our dining experience with thoughtful recommendations. The house Pinot Noir was also amazing!
Whether you’re planning a romantic date night, gathering with friends, or bringing the family, this spot delivers a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The convenient street parking is definitely a plus in this neighborhood.
If you appreciate artisanal pizza crafted with care and attention to detail, this place is absolutely worth a visit!
Kimchi pizza is very original and I thought I’d order it again when I’d come back.
The waiters were a bit pushy for us to order, leave, when they weren’t so busy.
But then not paying so much attention to us when we wanted to get more water.
