I had such a good experience I had to come leave a review. I had the best Chicken wrap ever! They made it exactly how I asked!! The food was fresh, delicious, good presentation and the quantity was superb . Best of all was the price! We got all of this food for $29!

Swung by here on our way to Wichita with a couple of my friends. She recommended the chicken wrap which two of us had and fully recommend as well. The wagon wheel Burger was also vouched for, as well as the patty melt. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is unique and the place is an awesome stop out in the middle of no where. Check out it!
A couple of old video games are in the corner. They don’t all work awesome, and I think the ski ball machine ate my quarter, but I think this is a great place to swing by in your way past if you want some great food.

My sales team and I were working in town for a few days and we’re all so glad we chose to eat here. We eat at a lot of different restaurants around Kansas, and this is one of the best small town diners I have ever been to. It’s clean, the owners and staff are super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere and decor is great and the food is so good. I had The Reuben sandwich for Lunch the first day, and it was built right on the grill. . We went back a second day. I had the chicken, apple pecan salad and a freshly made bierock that was sooooo good. Highly recommend If you are ever in Towanda Kansas, you eat at Thunderbird’s.

We came here as somewhere new to us. We got mushrooms, pickles, burgers, and fries. OMG, it was all delicious, and the serving sizes are huge! To be fair, I had to wait to eat my burger because everything else filled me up by my partner ate his burger after our side snack fest and loved it. This is definitely a try it place.

Omg! If you guys haven’t been to Towanda KS and had a meal from Thunderbird burgers and ice cream you need to go cause you are really missing! This place has it all from the small town charm and hospitality to the best of the best home cookin’. Let’s me just start off with this I had their special of the day which was the bowl of chili and a cinnamon roll and I added a piece of banana cream pie and my right hand on a Bible this is no small meal yall! I couldn’t finish it all and I can eat a lot! The chili was perfectly spiced and it came with jalapeños shredded cheese onions and crackers first of all this was no small portion and the onions weren’t scarce no I’m talking about huge chunks of onion huge chunks of meat plenty of beans and did I mention the huge portion? And don’t get me started on their banana cream pie it was the first to disappear and the cinnamon rolls are huge and thick extremely yet perfectly covered with plenty of cinnamon and the icing there’s tons and plenty of that too and these aren’t no cinnamon rolls out of the can either these have got to be hand made from scratch cause they are way too delicious and perfect not to be! I’m telling you guys stop what you’re doing and get your tails to thunderbird burgers and ice cream in Towanda ks! You won’t regret it! I promise!! There’s no doubt you’ll fall in love with their food like I just did!! I might be coming back to Towanda again just to stop at thunderbird! If you aren’t leaving now to go there what are you waiting for a sign from the heavens? Stop waiting and go! Go now! You’ll thank me later!
