As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

Tried checkers for the first time at this location. Bad service. Waited 20 minutes for my food since the workers messed up the order completely then they blamed it on the AI order taker. Least of my worries though. Went home with the food finally after a long day of work. Me and my brother both ate the chicken sandwiches. While i’m eating I notice something chewy and I then proceeded to pull out a piece of raw chicken breast. Completely raw unbreaded and uncooked. Straight raw meat. I threw up instantly. Told my brother and he looked into his sandwich (that he already ate half of) to find his chicken patties were completely raw inside. Then guess what happened? He THREW UP too Most vile disgusting thing i’ve ever experienced. I think i’m done with fast food for good.

Drove back to the location with the food right away. Manager said he’ll give a refund and that he’ll talk to the lady who cooked the food. Lady who cooked came up to me to inspect the sandwich and says “Yeah that’s raw” and walks away. Not a single apology or ounce of remorse from anyone. I don’t even think the manager properly refunded me the money to my card. He just handed me a receipt that said $0.00 cash on it.

The owner needs to find new managers. The managers need to hire better staff. More than half the staff working was high. And the lady cooking was beyond high. She poses a threat by cooking food for people and wouldn’t surprise me if the kitchen went down in flames with her cooking. No remorse or apology from her after she served me raw chicken. I hope I don’t get sick. My message to the public and people of Apopka is that until there is new management and employees don’t eat there. You will risk getting seriously sick. My message to the owner and managers.. Do better!

If you have 45 minutes to waste, just stare at a wall instead. There should be a 0 star option. Not getting food at all doesnt deserve the 20% score that 1 star suggests.

​I genuinely don’t understand how this place is still open. I just spent FORTY-FIVE MINUTES trapped in the drive-thru at the Main St. location. It is called ‘fast food’ for a reason, but the pace here is insulting.
​There was no communication, no apology, and zero sense of urgency from the staff. I watched cars line up and people give up, but once you’re in the lane, you are stuck hostage. By the time I actually got to the window, I would’ve had to wait for them to warm it up again. If you value your time, your sanity, or your lunch break, avoid this location like the plague. An absolute embarrassment to the franchise.

McDonalds is just down the street, or ANYTHING else!

The worst Checkers location ever!

I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences at the Checkers on Main Street in Apopka. On several occasions, I’ve received fewer tenders than ordered, and tonight was the worst yet. Despite asking the cashier to verify our order, we arrived home to find that the 5-piece box only had 4 tenders, which were completely raw—a serious health hazard due to the risk of salmonella, we had to trash them all. Additionally, the 8-piece box was overcooked and burnt.

I strongly advise avoiding this location.

When you call customer service to make a complaint, they never answer the phone, so customer service is also the worst.

Update (Nov 15, 2024) – I contacted customer service through the link the owner sent, so after one week I got a voicemail asking me to call the assistant manager at a number provided, but after trying several times and living a voicemail, they didn’t call me back.

Our experience at Checkers was just okay. The food itself was pretty underwhelming and didn’t stand out compared to other visits we’ve had at similar locations. They also didn’t get our order right, which added to the frustration.
The staff seemed understaffed and overwhelmed, and we were told they hadn’t received their delivery truck, so a lot of menu options were unavailable. While that’s not entirely the employees’ fault, it definitely impacted the experience.
Overall it felt disorganized and disappointing. Hopefully it was just an off day, but this visit didn’t leave a great impression.

I am an UberEats and DoorDash Delivery Driver. After arriving to the restaurant and checking in with my delivery customer’s name I waited exactly 31 minutes to receive the order, all meanwhile other customers arriving after me were receiving their orders first. That should never be possible if the restaurant is handling orders in the order they come in.

Non-existent customer service and the slowest service you will ever see at this location.

You’ve been warned! Thank me later. 🙂

Don’t even bother coming here on your break you will be late.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a pick up or drive-through or online order.

Just a bunch of people that hate their jobs working for minimum wage… can’t blame them

Friendly and fast to get a very good and well made burger or boneless chicken wings and other stuff. They have a few outdoor tables, but nothing indoors. I usually pick up and go home.

I ordered ahead during the lunch rush and they were a little behind when I got there (it was lunch time, no problem). The woman working the drive through gave me my drink and let me know the food wasn’t ready just yet so I pulled around and parked. My order was brought out to me within 5 minutes. Both ladies I dealt with were so friendly and polite and my order was 100% accurate, hot, and fresh. The food tasted great and this was a cheat meal for me so thanks yall for making it a great one! I didn’t get a picture of my spicy chicken sandwich as it didn’t last long enough. Very rarely do I see fast food that actually looks like the pictures, but just look at my Checkerburger (no tomato)! Fantastic job all around and I was very happy with my visit. Thanks again for giving me an awesome lunch! I can’t recommend this location enough.

Saddest $10 I’ve ever spent here. They have an AI take your order, and it’s not easy to talk with. The people working there were friendly enough, but obviously overworked and understaffed. I get ordering a hotdog from any fast food place won’t result in the most glamorous meal, but this was just sad. The bread is stale, the dog was cold by the time I got home, and the mozzarella sticks weren’t gooie inside at all. Definitely won’t be going back to this location.
