My absolute favorite locally owned coffee shop!!!
As you can see by the photos, the vibe is iridescent & magical & yummy ✨️ ☕️
On the 1st visit – We were a large party of 5 & we sat comfortably in the comfy chairs. We were able to stay & visit, without interruption by other patrons or staff trying to scoot us out the door.
We had coffee, juicy bubbly glittery drinks & sweet local snacks. The snacks are bought from other local vendors & sold by those vendor prices. The snacks also vary from day to day due to them being from vendor. Everything was absolutely yummy & exactly as we ordered. The prices are comparable to Starbucks & Dunkin’, but the money going to local small business and the possible combinations/selection are above & beyond any nationwide chain coffee shop.
All the staff, at both stores, were friendly, knowledgeable & patient with novices who have lots of questions Definitely feel welcome & at home here which isn’t always the case in smaller coffee shops. Patrons are always welcome to bring a book & sit reading while enjoying their drinks/snacks, without pressure to move along quickly. So feel free to chat with the staff & get to know what events are upcoming! While there, check out the display cases to see if you “need” anything else

Visiting from Virginia ! Was craving a matcha originally but I saw they had a weekly special that caught my eye and decided to get it, I also grabbed a cheese bagel. I do wish they had more food options but their options for cream cheese were great I ended up getting a sun dried tomato cream cheese which had great flavor, they also had garlic, bacon and dill pickle flavored ones. The lady who helped me was super nice and greeted us immediately upon entering, she asked me questions and gave me helpful answers. I believe her name was Chloe ! The inside was super comforting and welcoming other than a few AI pictures it’s very aesthetically pleasing lol. Overall I will definitely be coming back when I visit North Carolina again !

Jacksonvilles hidden gem!! Very close distance to yopp road so you can stop by and get caffeinated while running errands at a local shop instead of the a corporate chain. I live very near to this coffee shop but regrettably neglected it for the year I’ve lived here. Don’t make the same mistake!
The espresso is fantastic, extremely rich and flavorful. They offer more syrups / flavors than I’ve seen in any other coffee shop in this city, including ACTUALLY GOOD sugar free options. They also carry delicious local pastries and snacks. Try the raspberry ooey gooey bar! The staff is personable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The environment is gorgeous and welcoming. Plenty of comfortable places to sit, lots to look at, soft lighting and quiet environment. I come every week and sit for an hour or so to read and it’s the highlight of my entire week. If you’re lucky you’ll get to meet the sweet and well behaved pets who frequent the shop. Besides my own home, this cafe is my favorite place to be in Jacksonville. Make sure to bring cash and ask for a punch card

This whimsical cafe is adorably decorated with a cozy feel. Plenty of seating & delicious coffee drink options. My favorite part was the house made cream cheeses to go with my bagel. My choice? Velvet Ember cappuccino and Jalapeño cheddar bagel with garlic cream cheese. Helpful & friendly staff. Too sweet

Stopped by here on a whim with my Husband and decided to try something new! Got a Brown sugar cinnamon oat milk shaken espresso! Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend!!! Love to support local and so glad we stopped by!

Fantastic local coffee shop! Went with some friends for a quick cup of coffee. Both the atmosphere and the owner were so welcoming that our quick cup of coffee became an extended stay. The coffee was amazing, the food was 10/10 (you have to try the pickle cream cheese!), and the owner was so awesome to talk to. He engaged in great conversation in between customers and really made the shop feel inviting. I really look forward to many more coffee stops to come.

Chloe our barista was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our drinks were customized to our liking. The quality of ingredients make a noticeable difference.The owner carries locally made baked goods. The bagels come with a variety of cream cheese flavor blends. Everything was delicious! And the place is notably clean. We will definitely be back!

5 stars across the board! My best friend and I have been searching for a new coffee shop to come hang out at and needless to say we have absolutely found it. We were greeted by the most precious furry-diva when we entered, and immediately were recognized by the staff who walked us through our first visit and understanding their menu.
We got the arcane apple energy drinks and they were DELICIOUS!

If you are in the area this is a fantastic coffee shop. I stoped here on the way home from camping along the intercostal waterway near Hammocks Beach, NC.
Simply stepping inside this shop was like taking a step into a dream. What a great atmosphere! Before I could take it all in I was greeted and made to feel welcome.
This place makes one of the best cold brews I have ever had! The espresso shots they pulled were simply perfect.
If you are looking for good coffee in the area you will not do better than The Dragons Brew Cafe.
