Food was great! Just wish the place had a better atmosphere. A bit cramped and noisy. Menu has really great selections, and everyone was happy. Grilled chicken and fried rice, and the osso buco were good. Although the chicken parm was a bit disappointing, marinara was undersalted/seasoned and lacked any robust flavor.

Hidden Neighborhood Gem! The food and service was outstanding and I was happy with the portions and price. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. The cocktails were excellent and strong. We ordered from the specials menu, butternut squash soup it was perfectly balanced loved the small bacon bits. The steamed mussels are some of best I have ever had, a little spicy and the sauce was great for dipping your bread. For our main course I had pan seared rib eye which was so tender and tasty and my wife had the seared scallops over a bed of lentils and mixed mushrooms which was delicious as well.

Virtual Assistant

We went for lunch, and unfortunately the service was very disappointing. We waited about 15–20 minutes before anyone even came by to offer us water. When we finally placed our order, both the waiter and waitresses were rude and seemed annoyed by any request we made. The food took a long time to arrive, even though our dishes were not complicated, and some of the orders were incorrect. When we asked for them to be corrected, we were met with an unpleasant attitude. We also had to request water multiple times.

I understand delays when a restaurant is busy, but that wasn’t the case here. The food itself was excellent, but the service—and the attitude of the staff—really needs improvement. Also protect your food because there were a lot of flies in there and the table was wobbling.

First time trying this restaurant today for lunch and we really enjoyed the food and the service. Our server was Michael, wow he really was amazing. Very professional and polite, he made sure our waters were constantly filled, was very attentive and had a pleasant and cheerful personality. Thank you Michael for the great service!
Food was very good! I shared a mac and cheese with my mother and for entrees she ordered the grilled chicken breast and I ordered the special stuffed rabbit loin. They both were delicious. This restaurant is highly recommended and hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Great food and great drinks. No complaints about that. However, it can get quite loud in there on a busy night. The two separate times I’ve been to this restaurant, they are very rude, kick you out and ask you to leave your table once you’ve paid your bill. Presumably this is done to accommodate people who are waiting for a table. Clearly they need a better way to organize tables and who sits where. This is so rude and I’ve happily supported other restaurants in the area who don’t rush you at all. Maybe they would be better for takeout.

My husband and I wanted to branch out and try out a restaurant in Port Washington. What a gem! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the service from the wait staff (Ursula is great) and the food! We started off with small plates, grilled octopus was so tender and mussels in a white wine sauce and shared a Caesar salad. Then we shared a New York strip steak on a bed of potato purée and Brussels sprouts. Dessert was the apple crisp and everything with a lovely white wine. Indeed we came in hungry and left so, so satisfied! Definitely will come again. Enjoy! Note: Reservations a must…cozy place.. we came early so no problem but it fills up fast for Saturday date night!

The food was very good. We sat at the bar to eat since it wasn’t very crowded at the time we went. The bartender was personable and made sure our drinks were always filled. She made very good suggestions in terms of food choices for dinner as well. There seemed to be a good amount of regulars there at the time, which is always a pretty good sign. We had a few small plates and one entree to share. It was even a little too much for us, but everything was delicious.

Emma the manager went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. The staff was warm and friendly. The dinner was fantastic- the lamb, the sea scallops and the mussels were superb.
I am sorry we did not get to stay for dessert which we really wanted to do, we had a show to see down the street.
I will be recommending the wild goose and we will be back again soon.
