Best smoked meat this side of Tejas. Great smoky brisket – not too fatty but still moist, and perfectly shredded. The beans have a pleasant apple sweetened goodness, making them a unique alternative to normal baked beans. It was a very welcomed surprise. I love the potato salad from a previous visit, so I chose it again, and we also tried the smoky mac-n-cheese which was really, really, really good.
Pics show the Brisket Sandwich with side of Potato Salad, and Brisket Special Sandwich which was topped with coleslaw and a side of apple beans, and then we got a side of Mac.
Aside from the food being amazing, the family is awesome. So kind, so spirited, and our neighbors!! Support local – they appreciate your business, and the food speaks of love! It’s great BBQ.

Some of the best brisket ever had in a bowl with Mac n cheese. Then they gave me sample of some burnt ends with a glaze that literally melts in your mouth. Highly recommended and definitely will be back.

This is my go to BBQ place by far! TheMac and cheese and potato salad is also very good. I’ve had the pulled pork and the burnt end. Highly recommend them for your next dinner! And they have family meals. Very reasonable.

Family pit BBQ is the best that I have found in the southeast United States, they have a different supplier they get all their meat from Iowa, from the real cattle farms. I love this place I was just there today.

Stopped by after traveling up from Tampa for my son’s soccer game.
Damn good BBQ! The pork belly is phenomenal.
Only suggestion is to ensure food comes out hot. It was a little warm but overall definitely recommended.
