Fantastic food, fantastic service, Super fast!!!!
So glad we finally found a spot to satisfy our taco needs!!! Consistently great food and service! It looks a little rough on the outside but it’s super clean and delicious! Love that they have a self-serve salsa/relish bar! Extra limes are always a must!!!

Ordering here isn’t always the smoothest — the speaker cuts out sometimes, traffic noise doesn’t help, and we usually end up repeating ourselves But we always get it figured out in the end. The food is good, pretty authentic, usually hot, and usually correct. They do forget the sauces sometimes, but overall it’s solid and worth it. Not perfect, but definitely fine.

It’s the hidden gem that Clarksville can offer. Very friendly servers, decent food, good quantity and a fair price!
Chips are complimentary with the house salsas and the sauce.
I stick with the usuals— birria tacos, birria nachos, Fajita de Carne Asada, Menudo, Pozole, and tacos. I’d switch them up every week.
Agua frescas are also refreshing! I recommend piña or jamaica.
Only few places that actually gives you cebollitas and they’re authentic.
Parking is abundant, sometimes very packed but I’ve never had issues finding a parking spot.
It took me over a year to finally give a review of this place— I’d recommend this place!

Chicken burrito? More like onion burrito it’s like they ran out of chicken and said fill the rest with onions. Disappointed this used to be a good spot.

Best Mexican dive in town. The breakfast menu and breakfast burritos are fantastic. They are accommodating and willing to make most dishes without meat if you don’t or can’t eat meat.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. I tried the Quesa Birria tacos with a side of rice and beans, it was delicious. The meat was very flavorful and the consommé had a good flavor as well! The beans and rice were also great. They definitely don’t hold back on the meat either! I would definitely recommend this place!

Honestly very disappointed didn’t even eat it and still charged me for it. Didn’t even ask if they can replace with something else . I asked for milanesa de res(bread Beef) and they gave me breaded beef patty like for the burger. Never again!

You couldn’t simply cook the tortilla shell? You gave me cold uncooked tortilla with poorly seasoned meat and once sauce for three tacos. I thought the express and #4 are the same I see I’m CLEARLY wrong

I ordered two steak tacos 1 hard shell 2 corn it’s like they took the meat out of the fridge and slapped it on my tacos it was ice cold! My daughter’s pollo asado was also extremely cold !! Absolutely disgusting! I will go to the other El Grullo moving forward as I have for years and never had an issue.
