We recently visited this wonderful Indian restaurant in Charlotte and had such a memorable experience!
We started with a few drinks — Taj House Tea, G.G, Old Fashion and Charlotte — and each one was beautifully crafted and refreshing. The Taj House Tea had a comforting, aromatic flavor that paired perfectly with the meal, while the cocktails were creative and well-balanced.
For food, the absolute standout was the Chicken Chettinad — hands down the best we’ve had in our lives! The flavors were rich, bold, and perfectly spiced. Every bite was unforgettable.
The Saag with Burrata was another highlight — such a unique and delicious twist on a classic. The creamy burrata blended beautifully with the flavorful saag, creating a dish that felt both indulgent and comforting.
Overall, the food, drinks, and overall experience were exceptional. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for elevated Indian cuisine in Charlotte!

Had dinner here for the first time and it was a great experience. We started with the Honey Chili Lotus Stem, which was absolutely amazing—crispy, flavorful, and the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. For our entrées, we ordered the Taj Smoked Makhani (Butter Chicken) and the Goat Laal Maas. Both dishes were excellent, with rich, deep flavors and beautifully prepared.
We love Indian food, and this is definitely a place worth checking out. The quality of the dishes and the bold, authentic flavors really stood out.
A special mention goes to Avielle, the bartender/manager, who was fantastic. She created several unique drinks for us and encouraged us to try her specialty cocktails. Each one was excellent. She was welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Aesthetic Cafe ! Fast Service ! Fine Dining Experience!
We tried following-
1. Tandoori Paneer Tikka with rice – 2.5/5 ( paneer was less cooked, i can feel the raw flavor of the coating)
2. Dahi ke kabab – 4/5 ( Good ) ( portion size is less, only 3 pieces )
3. Mango/Orange drink – 4/5 Good
Place is little bit overpriced considering the price !

Absolutely amazing Indian food! The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly spiced. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of depth, especially the curries and naan. The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Portions were generous and the quality was top-notch. Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Charlotte — we’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience yesterday. Food and service were top notch. We tried the Dahi ke kabab, which lived up to their reputation. Burrata Spinach and Gobhi dum pukht was absolutely delicious. The breads were baked exactly to our liking. And the strawberry panna cotta was a perfect end to our dinner. Sachin, the host, and Usha our attendant, ensured a fantastic dining experience. We will visit again!

I checked out Taj House with my wife of Indian descent and her mom and we all loved it! Amazing flavor in all the dishes, with the chicken chettinad really standing out. The rum cocktail and smoked Old Fashioned crafted by Pavielle were 10/10. Very nice decor. Our new go-to Indian restaurant.

I travel quite a bit around the e US for work and while being in the uptown Charlotte area I found this new ,amazingly designed ,colorful and luxurious restaurant in the Elizabeth area called Tajhouse and let me tell you I was sold from the time I entered the entrance door .The place is so beautiful ,the fine details ,artwork and lavish fabrics .Once I sat and got familiar with everyone and the food ,OH MY GOD …
The food is sooo good and the staff is super friendly and courteous .I would highly recommend I leave tomorrow but I will surely be back and will let all of my friends and business partners know about this place .Tajhouse has now become one of my Favorite dining experiences,Hands down .

For non-veg, go for mutton sukka (rich, tender spice bomb) and tandoori lobster (fiery, succulent seafood treat). Drinks like Charlotte and mango rum lassi hit the spot—smooth and boozy. Highly recommend for Uptown Charlotte—bold flavors and great vibes!
