It’s a nice restaurant serving Indian street food and curries. They have multiple outlets one in San Jose too that I visited. They also have cocktails, hard drinks too. Seating is nice. Service is good. The street food is good too though on the expensive side.

We tried 4 different dishes and all were very good. They were reasonably spicy and very flavorful. The portions were larger than we expected, so be prepared. The staff was friendly and helpful, as well.

We ordered a Tikka masala bowl and a samosa for a total ~$30 including tax and top. Big portion. They were pretty good. The sauce came with samosa really delicious. Definitely recommend!

The vadapav is pretty good, the pav is buttered and pan toasted which makes it tasty. They give a spicy chutney and grilled onion with it. Would recommend.

Love the Tikka Masala burrito, and it’s nice to have a Curry Up Now location downtown. I just wish they had the free chai and biscuits from the Mission location.

AMAZING
This food was actually so good, I’m tempted to go back to San Francisco just for this. Not to mention the price?? For food of this quality in San Francisco I was surprised of how affordable it was. The ambiance is nice, definitely worth the visit. ( the el jeffe wrap is rlly good!!)

Got the Chicken Tikka Masala curry. It was decent. The tikka masala had some spices that I did not think worked all that great. The yellowish brownish sauce was sweet and a little acidic, not sure if the contrast works with the savory dish.

It doesn’t surprise me that the despite the crowded food hall, no one was interested in curry up now. My samosa was served placed in a pool of oil. When I took it back to the counter, the guy at the register (who was rude to begin with) took it to the kitchen, only to come back and tell me that “it’s deep fried, what do you expect?!”. So by that logic, next time I order fries, I should expect them to be dripping oil. Just awful service and awful food. This place is going down hill by the day.
