The food is always great and consistent. Sophea Asian Restaurant has the best crab rangoons ever. The waitress is very personable, remembers us every time we go in, and treats us like family. I stopped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday. There was no wait, and the service was prompt and polite. Sophea Asian has a very nice environment, much nicer than the typical hole in the wall Chinese place. I would say that it borders on upscale. The price was quite reasonable. I had Sichuan beef with fried rice and egg drop soup. Both were excellent and served very quickly. Both dishes were hot and fresh. The flavors were superior. This is a great choice for Chinese food in Columbus. Highly recommended.

We have missed Marc Pi’s so much since they left columbus, but not anymore! Just had carry out from Sophea’s for the first time and it was delicious! Tasted just like what we used to order at Marc Pi’s. So glad to have good Asian food again. Will definitly be returning.

First time my husband & I ate here & they were the best choice we made! Not only are they friendly & fairly affordable, but they were fast & the food was very fresh! My meal was hot the entire time I was trying to eat haha. Definitely a good place to sit down. Beautiful decor inside!

I absolutely loved the whole experience. The food was incredibly good and the atmosphere was very peaceful and the rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great experience. We had the spring rolls with a great duck sauce and Swinging in the Stars for two. So very tasty.

First off waitress was very attentive and experienced and really took care of us. She appeared to be the only waitress serving several tables. The atmosphere was nice and had a cozy feel. I really really wanted to love this place and had high expectations based on other reviews.
Maybe we went at a bad time for them; low on kitchen help? Regular cook gone? I don’t know, but the food was, well, awful. I ordered the Cashew triple (shrimp, beef, and chicken added), which had zero taste. I was able to eat the few pieces of meat and shrimp, but the vegetables, no. My husband had the Orange beef, which had the taste of old grease/oil and almost seemed burnt? We also ordered the combo appetizer, which had several items we could not eat due to old grease taste, food being laden with oil. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of food. Meal was $60 plus tip.
Again, maybe chose a bad time for them, idk. But, probably won’t return.

I absolutely love this place! The food is so good, I personally love the General Tso’s and the Sweet and Sour Chicken for entrees and the Lettuce Wraps for an appetizer. I love Sophea and the rest of the staff and they have great recommendations if you aren’t familiar with the menu. In a certain area the lights are really bright and gave me a headache when I was sat there, but other than that I love the atmosphere, it’s beautiful.

Really enjoyed trying something new at this place! It’s tucked away and a little hard to find but it’s worth it. We really enjoyed the Mongolian beef and the cantonese classic – it had a rich soy tasting sauce that was perfect when paired with rice.
