Went for dine out Vancouver special. Was delicious, had the soup, Wellington and chocolate mousse. Amazing dinner for only $56 dollars. It is worth visiting alone for the Wellington because it isn’t on their regular menu. It was delicious.
Lots of parking, there’s a parking lot and lots of street parking too.
If you’re not from Fort Langley there is some beautiful areas to go walk off dinner afterwards.
Thanks for the great dinner!

Attended a work Christmas party. The room looked very cute and festive, nice snack boards on each table to start followed by dinner. I enjoyed the Turkey dinner I ordered!

Went last night with friends and tries the Dine Out menu. I had the seafood trio and it was good but rice was cold. My friend tried the beef Wellington and asked for it medium. It came almost raw. The second try was not much better so she tried the seafood skewers and those were not properly cooked. Was the oven working? Manager ended up covering her meal and offering some future discounts but not sure I’ll be back. One friend ordered the Wonton soup and loved it.

I cook a lot and I’m often disappointed with food when I eat out. We shared a macaroni and cheese as a snack and were blown away. Very happy to recommend. They had a kids menu and we’re lovely to deal with.

It’s the BC Day weekend and we decided to visit Fort Langley. After a short walk we decided to dine at the Rail and River Bistro. The server was great. Dog bowls were at every table. We ordered an IPA and Sangria. Both were yummy. The lettuce wraps were super flavorful! My beet salad presented beautifully and tasted fresh. The Brie burger was juicy! Overall it was a very good dining experience.

Went for dine out Vancouver. Servers were nice. Wife had the salad. I had the chowder. Great. Wife has the seafood that was great. I got the Wellington, they over cooked it. Potatoes were bland. But they were nice. It was busy. They covered our bill and were very apologetic. Regular menu looked good. Will be back.

Everything from the food to the service and seating was fantastic. I ate outside because I had my dog. Each outdoor seating area has a dog dish with water and a nice private space where you’re sitting. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious.
The bruschetta was perfectly toasted and was very flavourful. The war won ton soup had a really tasty broth and lots of great stuff in it. All in all a wonderful dining experience.

My husband and I came to Rail & River last night for our anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves! Our server was very friendly and the food was fantastic!
We started with the crab dip, which was very yummy and had the perfect dip to chip ratio, which is hard to achieve! Definitely recommend. For our mains, my husband had the steak frites and I had the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. The chicken sandwich was one of the better ones I’ve had!
We will be back!

Reading the last few weeks of reviews I see that I am not alone. My wife and I attended for dinner recently. The place had maybe 4-5 occupied tables. We were seated outside, and it took our waitress 20 minutes to even come over and take a drink order. Since we had waited so long, she took both a drink order, and our food order. We ordered a draft beer, and a mixed cocktail. We waited for nearly 30 minutes, no beer, no drink, no food.
We eventually got up and left. Im assuming that the bar/kitchen is shared with the pub next door, but thats not an excuse to not be able to get a beer and a rum and coke out to a table at 5pm. We went to Wendel’s instead, and had a much better experience and likely a much better tasting dish based on the reviews of the food here.
Not sure if management has changed lately, but that was a terrible experience. I dont really care if my menu is on non-lamented paper, but if youre going that route, perhaps re-printing them every few days should be an option. Both my wife and I’s menu looked like a piece of paper that had gotten soaked in the rain and then dried into a crumpled mess. Couple that with the old men blowing their nose and horking lougees in the table behind us (im aware that isnt the restaurants fault), and we couldnt have got out of there fast enough.

We went on a Saturday lunch to a nice place by the river in Fort Langley. We sat in the covered patio. Nice ambiance. I had the brie burger which was absolutely delicious served with the bean soup. Prices were reasonable. My husband had a Quinoa salad with blackened chicken which he enjoyed. This place has an attached pizza restaurant on the side as well.
