Hands down my FAVORITE restaurant in Legacy Hall! Dock Local never disappoints. I absolutely love their lobster bisque and clam chowder — both are rich, flavorful, and always on point. I recently tried the trio rolls (one lobster, one shrimp, and one crab) and it’s the PERFECT combination. I’m officially hooked!
And let’s not even get started on their famous chips — so good!
The customer service has always been excellent. I recently met Jea, and she is absolutely amazing — friendly, welcoming, and makes the experience even better.
If you’re in Legacy Hall in Frisco, Dock Local is a must-visit. Consistently delicious food and top-tier service every time!

Legacy Hall kind of reminds me of a smaller version of Anaheim Packing District, and Dock Local fits perfectly in this little foodie and drink haven.
We came here specifically for the lobster rolls and discovered them through Instagram, but they do serve up other seafood concoctions such as lobster fries, lobster mac ‘n cheese, fish ‘n chips, etc. And since it’s the two of us and our first time visiting, we decided to order a Dock ‘n Roll, which consists of six mini lobster rolls of your choice. We decided two of each (2x Connecticut rolls, 2x Maine rolls, 2x Grinder rolls). Pricey? Yes (they do need to fly in their cold water lobsters inland after all). Filling? Also yes. Delicious? Absolutely. After chowing down 3 mini rolls each, we were good with food for another ~3 hours while our son took his turn at Dry Rub.
Overall, great experience and great service. Average roll costs $26 each, at the time of this review. If you’re not sure, and you have some cash to splurge, order the Dock ‘n Roll and try them all. At the end of the day two mini rolls = about 1½ regular roll. Highly recommended!

Dock Local absolutely delivered. I stopped by on a quiet Tuesday night, and everything looked, smelled, and tasted amazing. I ordered the lobster roll with the bisque and house chips — totally worth it. The lobster was buttery and fresh, the bisque was rich and perfectly seasoned, and the chips were crisp with just the right amount of salt. Even with a calm crowd, the service was quick and attentive. You can tell they care about both flavor and presentation here. This is definitely one of my new favorite seafood spots in Dallas.

I love their food and their portions are generally great. The mini trio rolls are a bit stuffed and give you a great selection of their rolls.
I typically get my order as takeout, however this time they squished the trio into a smaller box and one of the rolls didn’t have any substance

Me and my husband went to truck yard where they have a food truck for his birthday and to say the service was absolutely amazing is an understatement. My husband took 1 bite and loved it but right after he dropped it on the ground I told them the situation and the care I felt was care that I’ve never felt from any other restaurant in my life. He remade the sandwich for my husband and I am eternally grateful for them and will recommend this restaurant and the food truck to everyone I come into contact with because not only was the service out of this world but my husband said it was the best sandwich he has ever had. So thank you Dock local food truck at truck yard I pray you become the most successful food truck and restaurant!

The lobster roll was yummy. The bread was fresh as well as the lobster meat. Very tender and yummy. The butter was not needed but it was rich. Of course. One of my favorite spots at Legacy Hall.

I want to say the name of the lobster roll I ordered was called, the deluxe roll (not pictured). But I could be wrong. I may have forgotten the name, but I do know for $30 this roll was quite good and well worth the price. The sauce was good, with sliced avocado was a nice combination. The other roll I ordered was a regular roll, this one I didn’t care for too much. It was more on the dry side, but I really was impressed with how much lobster chucks both rolls had. These rolls were pack with meat.
