Huge shoutout to Jones BBQ for saving my wedding reception! After the threat of the ice storm left us without our original caterer, they took an order for 70 people on Friday and had it ready by Saturday morning. The food was delicious (great smoky flavor) and very reasonably priced. The staff and owner were wonderful—if you need great BBQ and even better service, look no further. Can’t wait to stop by the restaurant soon!

I went up there with my mother here for lunch. The waitress was really nice and friendly( I don’t remember her name) and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. The food was really good too. We got fried green tomatoes cut thin and fried extra crispy, they were so good. She got a cheeseburger with fries and a salad(she didn’t want me taking pics of her food). I got the large cheeseburger with add bacon, half order of hickory fries and fried okra. We really enjoyed being there and if I didn’t live 30min away, I would go there more often.

We went for the first time last night. They were BUSY!! We sat ourselves at an available and clean table. Then we were greeted by our server, Cara. The food was hot and fresh and delivered promptly. Those hickory fries alone were enough to make me return! But then the fried green tomatoes… They’re absolutely amazing! It took me to childhood watching grandpa make them in the kitchen of his double wide! We will absolutely be returning

Great BBQ place. Haven’t had a bad BBQ meal ever. The coleslaw can sometimes be hit or miss but the BBQ and Brunswick stew are always good. Ordered a couple of family packs for our family Christmas party. Everything (including the coleslaw) was very good today!!

Authentic Brunswick stew, delicious tender ribs, and perfectly cooked onion rings. The first thing that came to mind is Hidden Gem. They were incredibly busy when we came, which sort of delayed the server from taking our order. Our drink refills seemed to never come. The food did come out quite quickly. I really can’t wait to go back here because it was so good and affordable. The parking lot was awkward but we were able to find a spot. You wouldn’t think much of the place just driving by. I sure am glad we visited them!

ALL of the food we ordered was over cooked and over-salted. I’ve never had dry brisket in my life … it was awful. Even the macaroni was just super salty. I don’t even think they have pork on the menu.

I should have took the parking lot as a sign when we arrived at normal dinner time and the parking lot was empty. Ribs were over cooked and mush with a burnt taste. BBQ sandwich my wife had was just so-so. Wife really would have liked a Hickory Baked Potato but they only have tater tots and crinkle fries. My son got some chicken tenders which was alright, but would not eat the crinkle fries which were just limp and mush. Would not recommend unless you’re starving and just need a void filler.

I would not be surprised if the stew they’re serving is either from Walker Meat’s or based on their recipe. Brisket had a good flavor but was drowned by sauce, definitely ask for sauce on the side. Potato salad was very good and appeared to be made in-house.
Server was friendly and the salad bar was a nice touch. Prices were slightly higher than expected, but still a much better value than fast food.
