Amazing portion sizes. I don’t think I have ever had such a large sized dumpling that was absolutely filled with such a flavorful filling. The dipping sauce had a nice sweet tangy tast that complimented the dumplings perfect. Definitely will be coming back on the dumplings alone. Also got 2 combo platters, Sweet and Sour chicken which was crispy and seasoned nicely. The sauce is that old school red sweet sauce that just goes great with the chicken and rice. The fried rice is again that old school prok fried rice that’s cooked perfectly and has its own flavorful palate that compliments the dishes it goes with or can be eaten on its own. The egg rolls that come with them again are fully loaded and nice size. Flavorful and so crunchy on the outside! The Bourbon chicken are nice size chicken pieces woth a nice char on them and the bourbon sauce is laid thick, though for me personally I would love a lot more sauce but I am a sauce girl through and through. Def will be back to try more of their offerings in the future.
I ordered the Bourbon Chicken, fried chicken and boneless Spare Ribs. The ribs had a ginger-y taste that was different to what I was used to but it waa not bad. The Bourbon chicken is grilled and served in a semi sweet Houisin-Bouron glaze sauce with a few pieces of Broccoli to complement.
My sister order the veggie noodles which were not oily and had plenty of veggies added. The Humen(spelled wrong) was soooo good. I tasted my sister’s plate and wish I had ordered that too. The shrimps and veggies are plentyful and fresh.
The food was really GOOD. I would definitely try them again when I’m back in town.
The food is consistently phenomenal and it has been for years. It comes out hot, fresh, and delicious. They pack your plate as much as is humanly possible. They give you all of your money’s worth and more with the portion sizes, I feel. You’re not likely to still be hungry after buying one of their entrees. I buy a combination platter every time, and both components are equally wonderful.
The pork fried rice is my favorite and it’s so flavorful with every bite. A lot of times I feel like the fried rice is an afterthought in many restaurants, but that isn’t the case here at all. It also tastes authentically Asian, which feels silly to say, but I’ve been to one too many restaurants now where the fried rice tasted like the regular latin yellow rice I make at home using Goya and all those other non-Asian seasonings lol. They use high-quality meat cuts and cook it so that it’s flavorful and very tender. No unpleasant chunks of fat with tiny slivers of meat or dry, hard meat. It’s super juicy and soft. I’m admittedly sensitive about textures of meat specifically and don’t eat it very often as a result, but I’ve liked everything I’ve eaten from them.
They’re very courteous and quick without sacrificing customer service. The fact that they double bag your food and staple the brown paper bag is a small detail that really highlights how thoughtful they are. I just really, really love this place. I never have to worry that I’ll order something I don’t like or that my food will come out old, cold, or generally subpar. The restaurant is also very clean.
The picture is of two bourbon chicken combination platters. The top one has vegetable fried rice and the bottom one has pork fried rice.
10/10! 🙂
Prices were very reasonable.
Best reviewed place in this part of Orlando.
Definitely worth it.
There are only three tables here, so we choose not to eat in, but we have for lunch when shopping in the nearby stores.
We usually order the Sweet and Sour shrimp, sliced roast pork, house fried rice, and chicken in garlic sauce.
If your order over certain amounts you will get free stuff! $25 bucks or more get you fried rice, $40 or more get you a free entry. Remember to ask.
