Place was awesome. The voodoo chicken was great. My dad had the frog legs and there were no complaints at all.. ordered swamp fries for an appetizer, amazing just like the biscuits, Ordered extra biscuits for mom and im not sure they made it thru the next day.
Place is Awesome. Make the trip. We went around 1115am on a Sunday. Waiting couple of minutes. By the time we were done. It was packed.

First off Anessa was a FABULOUS server. She took awesome care of us for the whole meal. And the food was wonderful. We enjoyed everything from the gater bites, swamp fries, and chicken. They were even amazing doing a variety of proteins on my Cajun Alfredo. We will definitely be back

the best meal i’ve ever had in Oklahoma so far. The best mashed potatoes i’ve ever had. That gravy??? it’s to die for. The mixed drinks? especially the whisky sour? perfect. the seasoning? perfect. i’m only mad it took me so long to try eating here.
EDIT: also their servers were all nice and every single one was very knowledgeable about the menu and the specials that night. I could hear other servers talking to tables as they came to check on them and even if our server was busy helping someone else another server would come and ask to refill our drinks. Our server Will was the bomb.

If I could give Gibby’s 10, I would! Born in Louisiana and traveled the country, trying all kinds of food as well as having Chef friends, I can say that the Louisiana in me was HAPPY! That Rich blackened flavoring on my food, made it an absolute divine dining experience! I know those red beans had to have been cooked for many hours to have the flavor cooked into them! The biscuits were a surprise, and that lemon flavor on top made them one of a kind! Our service was fantastic from the door to the table and back out the door again! The manager/owner Took the time to stop by and see what we thought about our dinner as well as to listen to what we said. I can tell she loves her job because she was truly at ease! A restaurants experience is half the people and half the food & this place get a 10 from my husband and I! Thank you again for the wonderful experience and we will be back if we can make it

We have had so many wonderful dining experiences here. There is not a thing on the menu that I haven’t tried and loved and we have never had a bad experience with the staff either.
Tonight, they had colossal shrimp as a special and OMGOSH it was OUT OF THIS WORLD delish!
Our waitress, Anessa, had several tables in our section but never once made us feel like we were rushed and honestly made us feel like we were her only table when she was at our table, while still being attentive to her other tables as well. She not only greeted us with a smile, she joked with us, got to know us a little and made sure we had everything we needed at any point without ever having to wait. I also watched her at her other tables (I love people watching) while we were waiting for our food to come out and she had a table of people who seemed (to me) like they viewed her like she was “beneath” them and she smiled and never once let it get to her (if she even noticed). She is genuinely so kind and welcoming and is truly living the “Gibby’s is Family” attitude.
Carla sure has an amazing effect on all of the people that enter her restaurant and Anessa is proof that she is also a phenomenal boss to have too

Third visit and so so so good. We have been blessed with great food and service each and every time. I had to wait to get some solid Étouffée to rate and I was so glad I did. I had missed having good roux for the yums of crawfish. I picked the loaded which had crawfish, shrimp and crab – so good! The hubs just picked crawfish and shrimp Étouffée and loved every bite. This is a great dining place in Claremore, it’s only expanded each visit so more selection and now some bar drinks to go with your meal. The owner is very vested in getting to visit with her patronage and checking to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. Go! We’ll be doing it again and again.

The food is delicious! We got the oyster trio and Bayou grits. It was all excellent. I’m not a grits fan but they were my favorite part of the meal besides the fresh baked garlic cheddar biscuits. It’s a little chilly inside but it is a beautiful historic building and freezing outside. Definitely a great place to eat Cajun food.

Tonight was our first visit at Gibby’s after searching for and being recommended some good local(ish) cajun. Boudin balls, voodoo chicken and cajun pasta was awesome but the rollllss! my goodness, they’re amazing. Awesome atmosphere and great staff. I highly recommend Sarah.. super informative and very kind in general. Will absolutely be back and telling all my fam and buds about it!!

Our first time going there after seeing multiple Tik Tok reviews. I will say that it did not disappoint! We were with another couple, so we had lots of apps to share and desserts as well. We started off with the gator bites and firecracker shrimp, both were flavorful and cooked to perfection, (especially the gator). For our entree, my wife and I had the blackened catfish with a crawfish etouffee, and she had the shrimp and grits. This was one of the best etouffee’s I have had outside of New Orleans. The shrimp and grits were great as well, with large and succulent shrimp, and buttery cheddar grits. For dessert we did the pecan pie and the beignet’s. Let me tell y’all l, the pecan pie was good…but those beignet’s were fire. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of powdered sugar on top. Truthfully, it’s some of the best I’ve ever had. Our server Emily made the entire experience very welcoming. She was prompt, conversational, and knowledgeable. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner, Gibby. She came out and told us a little about her restaurants history along with her and her sons culinary background of how they come from Louisiana. If you are looking for authentic cajun and southern food, you should check out Gibby’s South in Your Mouth!
