Really like coming over to this small casino but for the last 4 times I have eaten here service has been really slow and servers seem to be overwhelmed with only a few tables . Last couple times I brought my family over and my food never came but it showed on the bill. This place really needs attentive employees.

The food is great; however, the service is HORRIBLE unless you get Katherine.
I am shocked that management would allow such; honestly, disrespectful service.
I truly feel that this restaurant would have a line out the door if their service would improve. Cmon guys, do better.

The food was really good. We came on a weekend. The breakfast was great. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the service. Like other reviewers have said the service is not very good. I almost had the exact same experience as the other guy on this review that says that the person answers the phone talks on the phone and having a conversation with a friend while we’re waiting to be seated. Rude. Condiments that come with your meal cost a dollar each. I ordered oatmeal and requested extra Brown sugar a dollar each I said then I’ll just take this to go. I have brown sugar at home. Crazy! We also regret leaving a tip. Waving the server down for anything is not the kind of service that we’re used to.

We walked in, no one greets us forever. Finally a young guy approaches, still doesn’t say anything to us yet he’s right in front of us. He answers the phone, takes an order after he hangs up and is done writing, he says “2” ( well hello to you too) they clean our table, take 15 minutes to greet us. The waitress has no pen or paper so has to leave in order to get out order. We wait, food comes out. Steak was amazing, mashed potatoes were cold and a weird consistency. No other service unless we flagged someone down. Very sad after paying $130. They need to really step their customer service game up as well as their food flavors.

I called ahead of time to inquire about a side dish this place offers. My wife has dietary restrictions, and can only eat a baked potato. Their inventory has been low, which is why I called ahead.
I was assured they had baked potatoes, and it was ONLY because I was told baked potatoes were in stock that I placed my order for pick. The ticket on the bag was correct when I picked up my order and paid their $53 price tag.
It wasn’t until I made it back home that I noticed the entire order was wrong. The order was 2 NY Steaks, one with baked potato and one with fries. What I received was NY steak meals with mashed potatoes for both.
It wasn’t until I called on my way back, which took 5 calls to get anyone on the line. I was told in the phone that they in face had no baked potatoes and refused to refund my money.
They offered to remake the food, unfortunately my wife cannot eat French fries or their powdered mash potatoes, they make her sick for a few days if she has those fake powder mashed potatoes.
I insisted on my money back, because they lied to me and willingly served the wrong order with out telling me they unilaterally changed my order.
The restaurant (rather than most return my money) called security on me instead! Never once did I raise my voice or made rude statements. I only said make the order I placed as it’s supposed to be or return my money.
After last night we will NEVER step foot in this business again. We are locals, this restaurant is the only place to eat within 50 miles. This is why they feel emboldened to treat regular customers like they expendable because they’re the only game in town. No more.
This place lies to customers, and they will gladly take your money and waste your night. They seem to enjoy treating locals like garbage.
You lost customers and I certainly hope others follow. If I could give negative stars I would.

We stopped here on the way home to eat dinner. The food was okay, it took a long long time to get our food and the restaurant was not crowded. Prices seemed reasonable and we got plenty of refills without asking. Our waitress was nice.

Went to the Ribbonwood Grill for dinner tonight and it was excellent. I had the prime rib special and Bill had the Cajun ribeye. Both were fantastic and service was amazing. Thank you Richard and Chef Joe for the amazing service and meal. Had Yorkshire Pudding for the first time and it was delicious. So glad that there is a place that we can have dinner out occasionally without leaving the mountain!

Had a fantastic early dinner. Western burger was cooked exactly as I requested and my wife loved the Shrimp Taco Special! Chelsey, our waitress was attentive and made sure our orders were perfect. Excellent service!!!!. We will definitely be returning.
Only negative was construction going on in the hallway but Chelsey moved us to another table. We are fairly local, live in Pinyon, about 30 minutes away, and there are not to many places to dine out. Having the Ribbonwood Grill nearby is a welcome opportunity for us to have a meal out.

Greeted quickly by a host, sat right away even though it was half full.
Server came quickly to get drinks and order, she offered suggestions.

We’ve been going to Ribbonwood since 2022. Food was great then, but in 2023-24 it went downhill and we stopped coming. This is the first time we’ve been back (March 2025) and we’re surprised at the smaller menu but quality has gone back up. Kudos to new management / new chef for making going to this local eatery a favorite again.

I admit that I didn’t have high expectations for this restaurant since it’s small and out of the way. Boy was I surprised, the food was amazing, the head chef came out and checked on our tomahawk steak (delicious!) and obviously had a great amount of pride for the food and the staff. The price was about half what I would have expected as well. If you’re in the neighborhood, give it a try. Tell them Wesley sent you!
