Out of tower here, I stumbled upon this place just down the road from the hotel that I’m staying at. The restaurant is great. Cool place. It has more of a hipster atmosphere (people). with dark romantic lighting. I’ve been to variations of these places. They are lounge first and have been let down by the pizza when you get home.
The pizza is outstanding!
I got to meet one of guys that owns and runs the place. I knew just by his welcoming tone and the passion for service, that he’s glad you found it. I could feel his energy and gratitude for your patronage and business.
I already forgot the young man’s name I’m talking about haha. Great pie for Nashville.

Rude and disrespectful staff who have no problem treating their paying customers horribly. We called, and were told they do not deliver, but offer delivery through Uber. We did exactly that. When our driver arrived at the restaurant, the staff absolutely reamed us out over the phone. That they don’t do delivery and this will happen “never again” and how wrong we were to send a delivery driver to their restaurant. When they HAVE A DESIGNATED SPOT IN THEIR LOT FOR UBER PICKUP. Horribly rude and INCORRECT. Would never ever order again simply due to the service.

This is a homey neighborhood hole-in-the-wall bar and eats. The pizza is really good if you like it thin, so I had to rave about it in a review. My husband has been getting pizza there for a while, but it was the first time I dined in. It’s a small bar area with tables. They have an enclosed outdoor add-on that larger parties were eating in, but we were inside at a high table. My daughter loves the pizza with “hot honey”. It was delicious. I had the vegetarian. The bar serves everything, and also has an alcoholic hot chocolate machine. That was really good! Behind the bar is a shuffleboard of all things. We play for a while, mainly because it was not that crowded. It is a little hard to find. It is off the side of the road in a plaza type building, and the bar/restaurant had no sign on it. Strange, I know, but it is called Midnight Oil.

I arrived here kind of later in the night and was nervous about it looking like a rowdy bar inside; however, once I entered there was a nice little table in the corner on the patio (by a super cute dog!). It was fun watching the livelihood from afar. I ordered one slice of the white pizza and one of the buffalo chicken, and three honey hot chicken skewers.
Pros:
– pizza was tasty. I liked the flavors and freshness of it all. Slices were large and easy to fold. Crust was cooked well.
– service was super quick and friendly!
– love that they allow doggos!
– atmosphere was fun if you’re into that sort of thing.
– total price was only $15!
– whole pizzas are large and cost probably less than a large at Pizza Hut so it’s definitely affordable.
Cons:
– two slices weren’t very filling.
Overall, would return if I’m in the Nations and have a hankering for pizza, but will need to order more than two slices.

Listen. You don’t know me and that’s okay. But let me just say that I’m a HUGE pizza fanatic. I’m literally obsessed. There isn’t a lot of great pizza places that can really give you that New York feel in Tennessee. This place is right up there with it.

This place is worth the money and they have little chicken skewer appetizers that are to die for as well. There’s also a comedy club right near this place and Did I mention the bar? Was looking for a new pizza place since others have closed. This was the perfect spot! Great atmosphere and the pizza was just right. It was a well “oiled” machine. Bravo! Thanks for investing in the nations.
Update. 8 months later. Service was awful and the food has went downhill significantly. Slices were burnt and had been in oven or heater way too long. Probably won’t be going back anytime soon. Sad once they got established things went down.

Great food! Extremely nice people working the bar! We visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded but there was a diverse crowd! While at the bar the two gentlemen explain the menu in great detail and explain their best sellers! You can buy whole pizzas or pizza by the slice. They also have a full bar. We ordered the cheese sticks! Delicious!! I have never had cheese sticks like these in my life! So cheesy!! Also we had ordered a whole pizza which was great! The buffalo pizza is a must try !

The pizza is great, the establishment is cozy. What I do not appreciate is the fact you can’t add toppings to slices. I understand if they can’t, but what is preventing a little toss of a veggie or meat on a slice? I’ll even pay the difference!

I had dinner here for the first time a few nights ago, and my experience was great! The atmosphere was perfect to catch up with a friend, and not feel rushed. Pizza was awesome, and the service exceeded my expectations! It was extremely affordable as well if that’s something you’re looking for!

The sweet heat pizza is my favorite slice they have here. The capicola, honey, and jalapeños are delicious together. The three meat and buffalo chicken are also pretty good.
