Came in to checkout the new spot today. I had the reuben with fries and a cup of grits to check them out. Everything was good and our waitress was attentive. They are still ironing out some of the kinks from being under new ownership so a little patience goes a long ways. We heard there will be mixed drinks and things available which will be an awesome addition!

Just WOW. I would give this place 1,000 starts if I could. From the warm service, smooth espresso and outrageously flavorful food this place was nothing short of sensational. I had a breve accompanied by a mushroom swiss burger, my parents shared the chicken fried steak and perfectly cooked eggs. The burger was out of this world, so fresh and juicy. The coffee was easily the best coffee I have had had in a long time. Elizabeth and Melinda really make the experience above and beyond. The only complaint I have is that it’s not closer to my house hahah but even with the 30 minute drive I will be back so much sooner than later because the food is just that good.

The food was so delicious. My husband had the CFS and I had the tried and true Biscuits and Gravy. First off let me just say how much of a biscuit snob I am and with that said they were light and fluffy and huge! The gravy was fabulous and wasn’t heavy or broken which is such a hard thing to achieve and a pleasant surprise as so many places have such a heavy greasy gravy. That bacon bro! Omg so flavorful! Last but not least the warm sourdough with butter and jam…it’s slap your mama good! Can’t wait to try the short stack as I am a pancake snob as well. My husband and I don’t mess around when it comes to breakfast and we will be back!

Stopped in to try this new breakfast and lunch spot the other day, and it ended up completely turning my day around. Like any brand-new restaurant, there were a few little kinks to work out, but honestly what stood out the most was the service. Our waitress, the sweet blonde with the biggest smile, had the most incredible, contagious energy. After a rough morning, being greeted by such a genuinely friendly, upbeat person made all the difference. She was quick, attentive, and so personable, and you could tell she truly cared about making sure everyone was having a good experience.
I ordered the Reuben with fries and both were absolutely delicious. The sandwich was packed with flavor and the fries were perfectly crispy. But truthfully, it was the warmth and amazing service that will keep me coming back. A smiling face and great energy go a long way, and she absolutely made our visit memorable. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s a small little cozy restaurant with nice wood tables and chairs very comfortable. I had my order to go and they have very comfortable winged chairs to sit in. It was very busy in here at 11 AM and packed but wasn’t overly loud even with all the people in here. The servers and cashier were very helpful and courteous. Wonderful addition to the Yelm community.

Had to try the biscuits and gravy. We expected the gravy to be exceptional because of the restaurant name. Biscuits were hard and the breakfast gravy was hamburger gravy or tasteless sausage gravy. Yuck!!! We won’t be returning. I must say the servers were exceptional, but the food was almost inedible. Very disappointed.

I had to send my entire order back, the biscuits ans gravy was ice cold, ans the gravy did not taste right at all, then I tried the pork belly and gritz. The pork belly tasted like super dry, boiled unflavored and it really had an off taste, the grits tasted like the cook put a half pound of straight black pepper into them. I literally coild not eat it.
Sadly the manager pr so she appeared to be, maybe the owner, walked by our table several times after I returned my entire order, and didnt stop to say a single thing to us, then the waiter tried to bill us for the entire meal including the 2 things I ordered and could only take one bite of, I had to spit out the pork belly.
We were very excited to try this too.
Service was bad and the food was bad.
My husband tried to be polite and push through his, but his eggs were either powdered or severely over cooked and rubber, my son who loves French fries and turkey, bacon, couldnt even eat half of his sandwich, and my oldest ate half his breakfast burrito. We did not ask for to go boxes.
If youre brand new, probably should have far better service and I dunno, address customers when their food is ice cold, ir something tastes off.
