This was our first visit to Le Cottage. It will not be our last! Everything was incredible. I did the lobster tasting menu. The lobster bisque, which I forgot to take a picture of, was delicious. Creamy, with chunks of lobster, and a crisp puff pastry on the top. The lobster ravioli was my favorite. Wow. My husband had the wine pairing menu. The mushrooms two-ways was amazing. He also had the rack of lamb, which he loved. Highly recommend a visit!

The best food we had on the island. If you like French food this place should not be missed. We loved everything that was served as to taste, presentation and service. We were seated right at our reservation time stayed without rush for the full course and enjoyed the time. What we had- – The pasta with the morel mushrooms was the best mushroom pasta I have had in a long time
– The steak with comembert cheese was cooked perfect and tasted amazing
-the pea soup with poached egg and bacon with cream surprised me at how light and tasty it was
-the lobster bisque under a pastry crust was very good
– the desert of the Carmel souffle with caramel ice cream and souce is highly recommended.

We’ve eaten at most places in Grande Case but this was our first time at Le Cottage. PHENOMENAL!!! Food was excellent, as well as the service. Definitely going back this week!

My husband and I ate here while visiting Grand Case. We were excited after reading great reviews. Unfortunately for us the experience was a let down. I had the special – Sea Bass – it was not cooked to my liking, mostly raw, and really no flavour. My husband had the mushroom linguine, it was not memorable. Even the wine, that was selected for us, was not great. This restaurant is not ocean front, you are right on the main drag, which is very busy. There are better choices.

The food was good, but not great, As main took Risotto but not that great. We were eon Xmas eve.
Worst is service..but seems it’s endemic to this part of the island, waiters care less about the customers.
Neutral to meeh..
Overpriced also.

We ordered a starter, two dinners, and four drinks. But while ordering, the waitress was hurrying us to order…
At the end we did not want dessert but we were planning on getting more drinks, one of the male waiters was great and even brought us two shots “just to try,” which we appreciated.
but then 5 minutes later the lady with short hair came over, slapped the check on the table, and told us “we are done.” We never asked for the check. (LITERALLY)
A few minutes later, she came back checked the table if we were going to pay right away. I said “huh, are you kicking us out?” She looked at us and asked “don’t you understand English?” We were speaking English the whole time.
It felt like there was some racism behind the way she treated us.
Overall, the food was average, but the rude service completely ruined the experience. I wouldn’t go back.

We were lucky enough to be seated without a wait. We ate the shrimp duo which has a delicious shrimp tartare but the scallop carpaccio really shined in this dish. So tender and delicate. The foie gras terrine was also very flavorful. The seared scallop entree was simply the best scallop dish I’ve had. The flavor melded together so nicely. If you have a sweet tooth the caramel soufflé was fantastic. If all that didn’t sell you, the staff is really one of a kind. We ran into some car trouble and they went above and beyond to help us get up and running again. A truly unforgettable experience. Thank you!!!

Quaint and iconic. This is one of those restaurants you must visit when in St. Marten.
Elegant dishes are served with amazing service. The table-side presentation of the dishes is truly special and you are treated as loyal patron even if it’s your first visit.
5 stars.

This was hands down the best meal I had in St Martin. I started with an arugula salad with a sundried tomato dressing that was delicious. I then had the best tenderloin I’ve ever had. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly paired with a sherry mushroom sauce that was insanely good. I also had a taste of the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly and delicious. The staff was great and the cocktails were also perfect. I would definitely recommend and go back again and again.

When we visit St. Martin, we make sure we have 3 reservations before we leave home: hotel, rental car and Le Cottage. We’ve dined here multiple times over the years, and they have perfected their craft. The staff is warm and inviting, each playing their part to create an unforgettable experience, and it’s comforting to see their friendly faces over the years. The atmosphere is intimate, chic and lively, yet you can still enjoy a nice conversation with your table. The food and wine are absolutely phenomenal. Whether you order from the menu or one of their nightly specials, you really can’t go wrong. It’s inventive, beautiful and fresh, and I promise you’ll be planning your next visit before you leave because there are too many wonderful things to try on the menu. Don’t forget the wine! The kind staff are quick to get the perfect glass in your hand to complement your incredible meal. We adore everything about Le Cottage, and we hope to be back soon!
