I got myself one large and satisfying bowl of beef noodle soup. There is a large selection of food , drinks, and dessert at this restaurant. Hard to choose from the menu and all look good but later when I tried some the quality wasn’t amazing. The milk tea I really couldn’t finish it tasted like the cheap powdered mix in. Most their menu is ready made and is served directly from the heated trays. Other stuff from the menu takes a few minutes to come out of the kitchen. My beef noodle soup was worth the wait, delicious taste and steaming hot. They were able to modify and make it non-spicy. It was a treat! I wouldn’t have the bean sprout soup again however it didn’t taste fresh. Tray item quality also not the best imo.

Authentic Chinese/Taiwanese cuisine in the heart of the City of Industry. They have a good selection of precooked dishes which can be combined in various ways – $10 for three dishes plus rice and soup! You really can’t go wrong with that. Lots of other items, including a wide selection of fruit drinks and *Traditional Taiwanese Shaved Ice*. Atmos is ok, and there’s no table service. But that $10 deal puts all the fast food places to shame!

The value here is amazing! Went here after visiting the new Frank & Son. I’ve been to the Kang Kang in Alhambra a lot for many years.

You could get a 4 item combo for a little over $7, and it will come w decent portions of each item, a lot of rice (I picked steamed so that it would taste better with the items), and some simple bean sprout soup.

This can easily feed two people. I used to buy this and save half. $3.50 a person!

Of course they’re famous for the Shanghai pan fried small pork bao, and they’re awesome. But the combo pick your own is stupendous for the price!

I like the staff. They’re probably not making a ton of money, so tip them!

Great value for your money. The 4-item plate combo, is a steal for $10 plus tax. It is perfect for sharing among friends or family. Each combo comes with a small cup of soup and a side of rice, ensuring a satisfying meal that won’t break the bank.

Kang Kang Shau May Restaurant boasts an impressive array of Chinese dishes.

What truly sets Kang Kang Shau May Restaurant apart is their commitment to generous portions and affordable prices. Unlike many Chinese restaurants, where individual dishes can be pricey, Kang Kang Shau May Restaurant ensures that their customers can enjoy a variety of flavors without overspending. Their large portions are perfect for sharing, making it an ideal spot for group gatherings and family outings, see the pictures on this review for an example

I love this place, the whole family loves it here. The portions are huge, the taste is delicious, and it is authentic. What more could you want. It isn’t for everyone though, the staff can seem a little standoffish, but are actually incredibly friendly – It’s really up to you how you treat them, to how they will react to you.

Their beef noodles in black bean sauce is insanely good, so are their buns. We will always eat here whenever we are in the area.

I will not sugar coat this place, it is not for everyone. Kang Kang Shau May is a hidden gem bringing delicious Chinese comfort food. It is not the typical Panda express or other places trying to copy them, they bring a unique experience to the table by offering the traditional Asian fare. Specializing in Beef Wonton Noodle Soup, Shanghai Pan fried pork dumplings, beef rolls, Pork sticky rice, Pork Xiao Long Bao and so much more!
Honestly, it was my first time and I loved it. I plan to come back often but not too much, I fell into a deep food coma after eating all the delicious food! Lastly, I am a big fan or Raina Huang, an amazing youtuber that loves to eat!! #rainaiscrazy check the video out of her eating a ton of Shanghai Pan fried dork dumplings. She gives really good insight for someone who has grown up eating here

Great food, huge portions, all at a price that is really low. 4 item combo filled/overflowing the dish and the rice was served separately (with soup as well), all for under $10.

The fried rice was delicious, great flavor, enough that I have dinner already from the leftover as well.

Alhambra location’s recipe is better than this one on the pig ears. Not spicy and got more peanuts than meat! Terrific customer service though, very refreshing.

The Shanghai fried pork bao is the best in the area I think. There is also a variety of other dishes at a decent price.

There are a few outside tables but the inside is just people picking up food, they have plenty of space to maintain social distancing and everybody was gloved and masked.

I will be back.

The fast food restaurant we often come to has raised its prices. The 3-item plate combo, is a steal for $11.95 plus tax.
