What a wonderful experience we just had! I took my kiddos here with me for an after school treat and the girl that helped us was adorable (Alexis I think?) She engaged in conversation with my kiddos the whole time and made their night!

We chose a variety of desserts and I know that they will all taste delicious because we have tried some of them before. We also love their bread and donuts too.

I love supporting schimdt’s every time I’m in the area.

Just ordered pastries. A blueberry strudel, snickerdoodles, an orange roll and a lemon bar. The strudel was the best I’ve ever had. Ordered at 2 pm and the pastry was still soft and delicious to eat without warming. Everything felt fresh and tasted good. I will be returning!

Delicious treats! The employee was so helpful and patient as we decided between all the goodies. If you’re there early enough, don’t miss the Bismark! Out of this world delicious! Great eclairs, cookies, etc. (We didn’t try the bread but it looked good). A few gluten free items (but I don’t know if they are prepared separately- it’s a gluten-y place!)

Stopped in today for some yummy hot soup. I got clam chowder. Omg it was so salty I couldn’t eat it and my daughter got the chicken pot pie. Where did they leave the flavor. Yuck !!!! Couldn’t eat it either. Thank goodness we got a pastry it was good. Hence the two stars.

We have come here for many years and gave been very happy with the quality of the pastries here. That is, until today. We couldn’t believe how much the prices have increased while the serving sizes have decreased in some instances. It was VERY disappointing. We won’t be back again, sadly.

I’ve been coming here for years, ever since I was a kid, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon, not with the way they made my sandwich. It took a long time, and there were barely any toppings. $13 for this? This is a three dollar gas station sandwich at best. I wish I wouldn’t have gotten it to go because I would have approached them about it, but it wasn’t a time investment I could make to go all the way back to the shop. Instead I think I’ll just stay away for awhile.

Excellent bakery with something for everyone! We ordered eclairs and sugar cookies, but I’m already thinking about going back to get the Madderhorn. It looked amazing! Also, their sandwiches are really good…just like the best homemade sandwich ever!
