Food (Fajitas & Enchiladas) was prepared relatively quickly and was quite yummy. Solid portion sizes. Wish the fajitas had been served with more pico/salsa though.

Staff were friendly and on the ball when ordering and preparing the food.

We dined in. The dining atmosphere could use a touch up. And at a more traditional sit down place, at close to $40 for two lunches, the lunch would also have included chips & salsa. So dine in is maybe not the best option.

But, if I lived closer, I’d definitely consider making this a regular spot to grab some delicious take out.

I’m visiting my bf and was told about this place while I was still in London. We don’t have authentic mexican food in London (that I know about). It feels like I travelled all the way here for it and I wasn’t disappointed. Worth the 11hr flight.

Amazing food, huge portions, and friendly service! Highly recommend the fried avocados! We drove over an hour to get here and were not disappointed! We’ll definitely be back!

I am a little confused how I should rate this restaurant as the first time we ordered take out it was awesome.. the second time our food was freezing, and the chicken on the flouta was like jerky, very difficult to chew. The burrito we ordered had one small piece of chicken throughout the whole thing that my daughter tried to shred to spread over her whole thing.

The absolute BEST! Everything is delicious. Fresh ingredients and made by people who are passionate and really care about the food they make. If the chef suggests you try something, I highly recommend you do. I’m always impressed with their creations. Better than any other establishments in Rochester. Very friendly staff and very accommodating to dietary restrictions. I can’t recommended this place enough.

Cafeteria style sit down environment with music playing from a radio in the window. Only one person working and he was doing his best. He couldn’t take time to explain the menu or do anything custom. Pretty expensive for a quick lunch. Positive note the chips and salsa were very good. Honestly I make better fish tacos at home with fish sticks, boom boom sauce and slaw.

I have had lunch from Itacate Chili twice in two weeks. Last week was take out, today was dine in. Today I had 2 beef tacos, chips and salsa. The food was visually appealing and tasted great! Their pricing is reasonable. I like the staff, too.

If you want very authentic Mexican food this is the place on the west side. If you prefer Americanized taco bell, stick with them.
We tried every taco on the menu, no substitutions prepared as is…..although I liked everything, the shrimp was hands down the crowd favorite…..my only change for me on my next visit is to ask for flour tortillas on the tacos, they come standard with corn, and it doesn’t hold up well to the wetness of the fillings.

Disappointed. The staff were friendly and I could tell they were trying, but the food was just “missing” something. I had to ask for some sort of hot sauce just to add some heat, but was charged $1.25. I feel like that’s a bit bizarre. They should have Tabasco on the tables. The flavor lacked and yet somehow certain flavors were overwhelming so much so that I couldn’t really taste anything else (yet it was bland). I know that sounds like a contradiction. But it’s the only
way I can describe it. My stomach hurt after the food. For the price, I gotta say that I wouldn’t pay that again. I’m not really sure I’d go back at all to be honest. Not trying to be a Karen, I think they just need some tweaks.

Was hoping to get yummy Mexican burritos for dinner! Not the case. Overpriced $12.50 steak burrito $11.50 chicken burrito with $2.50 extra for “enchilada style” sauce. Cook said it had cheese inside (chicken) but I didn’t see it taste any? portions were good sized; food “warm” not hot. Dine in not great; hard to cut with cheap quality plastic ware. We won’t be back, sorry
