If you live in Salt Lake, you already know the Greek burger vibe Astro, Apollo, Crown… and now Olympus Burger was my latest stop. Honestly, they’re all part of that same local tradition, and I love it every single time.
There’s just something about a charbroiled beef patty stacked with hot pastrami, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and that signature sauce that hits differently. It’s messy in the best way. The pastrami on top of the burger is what makes these places special that salty, smoky flavor with the flame-grilled beef is classic Utah comfort food.
Olympus Burger definitely delivered on that. The burger was exactly what I expected — juicy, flavorful, and satisfying.
The only thing I personally didn’t love was the fries. They’re thick-cut, crispy on the outside, but inside they’re very soft, almost like a baked or boiled potato texture. Some people might love that, but it’s just not my style.
Overall though, if you like the Greek-style pastrami burger scene, Olympus fits right in. To me, Astro, Apollo, Crown, and Olympus all bring that same nostalgic flavor and I’m a fan of all of them.

Food was decent. However, this business like several others, is charging a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. I will not be bringing my business here because of this. Card processors haven’t started to all of sudden assess extra processing costs; this is just a quick way for the business to raise their profits by trying to blame the credit card companies.

Olympus Burger is amazing. The food is made fresh and the service is excellent. It’s never too loud inside and there’s always a cozy booth to visit in. Best ranch dressing and best fry sauce! Mozzarella sticks are also very good.

Their Philly cheesesteaks were awesome but spent over 55.00 for 4 sandwiches and they won’t give us any fry sauce because I didn’t order fries?

Food and service were excellent. I ordered a strawberry shake and it was overfilled. There was a half inch of it above the lid. By the time I made it home, it was oozing over the top cover and into my cup holder.

My brother an i both had the onion rings a cheeseburger and I had an Olympus burger, as well as frysauce to dip. We felt fine till a couple hours later when both of us got suddenly ill with stomach cramps, nausea and sweats. About 30 mins after that my brother was driving with my other sister to get his birthday present, since it was his birthday, and had to pull over immediately to vomiting and relieve himself. For myself I ended up with the worst stomach cramps and feeling as if I was on a merry go round making my self vomit to relieve myself of this sudden illness. Im not one to point finger but that meal we had here at Olympus was the culprit and maybe even the 4 gallon sized fry sauce dispenser that may have not been kept up to health food standards. Take your chances of you’d like. The staff are friendly and the building is old and needing a redesign or interior designer to help update.

Wow that was a delicious Bacon Cheese Burger. Bacon was perfectly crisp and the burger was cooked nicely. Great place I’m glad I gave it a try! Highly recommend this place!
