Went with a friend around 9pm to get food and a drink. Walking in it immediately made him sick to his stomach, the smell of Acetone and sewage was atrocious. The bar tender told us 2 people had poo’d themselves earlier that day. I couldn’t finish my beer so we left. My other friends wanted to go sing Karaoke & we wanted to check it out there, i work as a server for a karaoke event every week and wanted to participate on an actual night off… Gave it 2 hours for the smell to die down and went back. Smell was mostly gone or just acetone by 11:15. We get our drinks, no one was signing up or signing karaoke so I tried to get the ball rolling. Trying to sign up was not fun. I asked the girl doing the sign up is it thru karafun or do they have a list of songs we can look at? She snapped at me then crossed my name off the list without calling me, i was literally the 3rd person to sign up in 2 hours… Another girl 30 minutes later, im assuming felt bad, came and found me and asked me to go up but couldn’t read what the other girl scribbled out. So I said sure I get up there, start the mic is on…. then the first girl who was being rude turns it off before the end of the first verse. At which point I dropped the mic on her table and walked away. This was my friends first experience in this bar and they were upset at the “service” of the staff. My friend got loud because of the way the girl was acting and we ended up getting kicked out. 10/10 do not recommend. Will not be back and will discourage others from ever going to a Karaoke night at this bar. I have tried around 15 trips to this bar to get a single positive review 13 of those times I brought people with me… always something negative happens with the staff or atmosphere. No toilet paper or paper towels in the ladies room…. the bottles taste like metal so beers are gross…. the rumple is hot like room temperature… it smells like sewage or acetone…

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life at a place in Lubbock Texas that I grew up in. The short female bartender with black hair is absolutely horrible will scream and yell at you. Each plate came out separately. The food came out over cooked and nasty. We were given attitude when sending the food back. Then overcharged and told to leave.

Awesome atmosphere! I came in for a drink after work, and o bar did not disappoint! Cheap drinks, awesome food. Jenn and Sidney really made it feel like home. 10/10

Jordan was our bartender and he was awesome. My girlfriend and I came to try a oyster shot and the staff was very helpful in getting it all dressed up for me. Beyond that Jordan made a delicious cucumber Chilton for me. I haven’t had a good one here in Lubbock in quite some time. Big thanks to Jordan and the team.

I came in and was ignored for at least 10 minutes after sitting down. They were not busy. After flagging down a waitress, I asked if their kitchen was open and then asked for a menu. They brought me a sticky laminated menu with very limited and expensive offerings. I left without ordering food.
This place used to have fantastic food and service but is a shell of its former self since an apparent change in ownership.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants to eat oysters. It was my birthday, and I wanted to have seafood. So we go to the place that we call our regular place. The service that day was absolutely horrible. There was waitress that seem to ignore you. And then, when the shift change came, there were four people behind the bar. But you still did not get any better service. The young couple that came in and sat on the other side of us asked after a short period of time if we had a waitress? And I told him well kind of. And within the next 5 to 10 minutes, someone did finally come and take their order. This was probably the worst service that we had gotten in a very long time at this particular establishment. There are other restaurants in Lubbock that have oysters, but we really used to enjoy going to this place. But after the service that we received, we probably will pick an alternative place to enjoy oysters next time.

Very good place, but I was overcharged for products and drinks I did not order. Upon dispute, I was violently mistreated and shoved out my staff and civilians. It was extremely unpleasant, I was charged for 6 alcoholic drinks when I did not order that. I was then shoved out by staff members and civilians and banned from the establishment upon me bringing up the dispute. It was unfair and absolutely unjust, I hope this does not happen to you.
