Dine-In or Take-Out wood fired pizza. Roots Wood Fire sales wood fired pizzas made from fresh local ingredients fueled by local hardwood (maple, plum apple, cherry, and occasional oak). The dough is made in-house with un-bleached wheat flour and my 34-year-old sour dough starter and then fermented for 48 hours. Tomato sauce is made from scratch and cooked low and slow for six hours. We also serve small plates, dairy free, and gluten free options.

Reviews
A special mention to Otto, who was so sweet and made our son, Myles, feel like he had a new best friend. It was such a great atmosphere, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I chose Roots Wood Fired Pizza based on the amazing reviews—and it absolutely did not disappoint! We started with the Caesar salad, which was excellent and generous enough to share. For the main course, we went with the recommended fig and bacon pizza—delicious! The sweet and savory flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was full of flavor. The friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
The vegan in our bunch got vegan cheese and their pizza was “genuinely bad.”
The salads our group ordered were also not quite 5 stars. One was heavily dressed and wet, the other was pretty good. Both felt expensive for their simplicity.
This is some of the best pizza I have had my entire life. All the ingredients taste SO fresh and the pizza is mouthwatering good. The Chopper salad we ordered was also so fresh and yummy.
Nice homey atmosphere, and the service was great.
Definitely found my new favorite place.
We ordered the Cesar salad, which had perfectly balanced flavors. My partner doesn’t like kale, but this salad changed his mind. Both pizzas we ordered were fantastic too (Bacon and date, Sausage and Calabrian). The dough was like eating a toasted cloud. It wasn’t too heavy and complimented the toppings.
I’m from out of town, but when I come back I’ll make sure to stop here again.
