I’ve been meaning to write this review for ages… we had my son’s baptism at Bedrock in May on a Sunday. They’re typically not open on Sundays off peak, which this was, but Bobby was extremely accommodating. He created a delicious menu for the event with so many options and everything was phenomenal and this place was a MAJOR hit with all my guests. It was beautifully decorated and the service was incredible. I could not say enough about Ang who was absolutely out of this world helpful and nice. Always going above and beyond! I was torn between this place and another for the event but the customer service, food, and atmosphere won me over. It was pricier but you get what you paid for; this was well worth the additional cost and, to be completely frank, I still think it was a steal for what we got! They’ve gained customers for a lifetime out of us. Love this place and everyone here! Thank you!!!

Just had lunch with my husband here. Our server Jeanette was very pleasant and engaging. I had the blackened shrimp salad and it was delicious. Ample serving size. The flavors all worked so well together. I cleaned the plate. My husband had the cheeseburger with fries and he was very happy with his dish. The prices were reasonable which is surprising for this area. We’ll definitely be back.
PS We actually had our first date here a few years ago. It was nice to return.

A big big shout out to the mighty Judy! She epitomizes working a room. One waitress for an entire restaurant. She was fabulous as was the delicate and tender fried calamari. Also, they accommodated my mom’s dietary needs! Awesome place!

We had excellent service for my friends birthday brunch party. Everyone was happy with their meals. The pancakes were fluffy and had good flavor. The aloha salad was perfect since I love fruit in my salad.

This is my go to place when I am down by Avon. I have never been disappointed in the quality of the food. They change their menu so I never know what new items they will have which is great. The staff is friendly and during covid take out has been wonderful. So recently had their Irish Eyes Wrap. It was fresh, plentiful and great flavors. Can’t wait to return! Support local!

I’m very disappointed in Bedrock. My family and I have been dining in and take out for years.. however today I had a very unpleasant experience with an employee. We were told that we could no longer receive delivery service because we didn’t tip the driver two times. How dare you assume that a tip is mandatory. It is unacceptable. We have spent lots of money in your establishment. We often tip but you do not know someone’s financial situation. Maybe a person cannot always tip but to say you will not serve us because we didn’t tip a few times when we have spent our hard earned money with your company for many years is a slap in the face and you just lost a faithful customer . We will not spend another dollar in your establishment.

Prior Art:
We were 2 people and the bill came to $88, that’s with no alcohol as the place is BYOB.
When we arrived we were one of 3 tables, with the vast menu that goes from Wraps to Seafood to Chinese to Mexican it took us a few minutes to order.
Service was average, the girl was friendly but it was clear was catering to the places regulars.
After ordering the bread came out. No joke it was delicious and very warm, however it was a very small loaf, maybe four 3/4″ slices.
Starter:
We went with the onion petals, there was a decent amount and they had good flavor, sauce didn’t have the feel of being homemade, but it was a good combo. However there isn’t enough sauce to eat all of them, therefore we were left with a bottle of ketchup to finish.
Soup & Salad:
I opted for the French Onion Soup for a +1.00 upcharge, overall it was good, however my partner opted for the house salad with house dressing and no onions. She received a small bed of very washed lettuce with 2 cherry tomatos, and a few commercial croutons dressed with Ken’s balsamic… that was it. And when I say small I feel the lettuce should at least cover the bottom of the dish.
Main course:
When you order a $30 surf & turf you expect at least a maybe short but a compleate lobster tail. Was served half a tail, stuffed mostly with the “crabcake” which was spooned to the top of the shell, tasted like it had been made well in advance, and the crab was real but not jumbo lump. I believe it was there primarily to support the 4 bites of over cooked rubber.
To add insult they have the nerve to mark where they cut it in half and give you the smaller part..see image with red dot. My guess is that they use the other half for their other dishes. Steak was previously frozen and the 5 sprigs of over ripe asparagus were overcooked. I Liked the ice cream scoop of tray mashed potatoes though, go figure.
There was no coffee or dessert because at this point we were done.
Over encumbered menu, clearly regular customers that appeared to receive the bulk of service, portion control and overall price tag point to one picture, Dying Restaurant with a buisness lunch. You’ve been forewarned..

I ordered the blackened catfish. It was delicious, served with perfectly steamed asparagus and a flavorful chipotle aioli. It was served iver vegetable risotto which was a nice compliment to the spice. Service was friendly. It’s BYOB.
