Great place. Just reading the comment from a kid wanting some attention and probably underage trying to drink. I am here to say that I had an awesome time last night and also I was there for dinner time and it was so delicious.

Do NOT come to this disgraceful establishment. My friends and I typically go here every weekend to hang out until we had a situation with this ignorant, rude, and insensitive encounter with one guy from security and one of the bartenders. This place serves to underage college students and tells them to slip a $10 or Venmo in to be let in as overage and give them a stamp or a wristband. They are also very dirty, in the bathrooms there are typically no toilet paper in the stalls, no soap, and no paper towels. This one security, Bryce, is extremely rude. He refused us into the bar after one of their bartenders flipped us all off and one girl had said something about it and he refused us all because of “association” although some just walked out with them and had no idea of what was going on. We tried to ask why he wasn’t letting us in and all he was saying is that “we are allowed to reject you” without giving us valid reason. He had said that one of us said something about the bartender but me and my friend weren’t aware of that at the time so we tried to get out way back in because that had nothing to do with us, he still refused and said he was going to call the cops on us if we don’t get off of “his property”, he said he owns the place but he is not the owner. it’s unfair that other people will get punished for something they had nothing to do with or even know about. This Bryce kid also put his hands on my friend and pushed her along with calling her names and saying hurtful and uncalled for comments about her personal life. He had told us we could come back the next day and as we go in he taps us and tells us we aren’t allowed back and that we are banned for life and to get off, once again “his property”. Again doing nothing, just standing there. He only banned 2 of the girls but allowed the one girl who said something about the bartender to go back. This whole place is disgraceful and I will not be going back there again.

What a great taco place with some of the best authentic street tacos I’ve ever had. The free chips and salsa are very delicious as well. The salsa has a nice smooth texture to it as well. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some great Mexican food. Pictured is 2 Al Pastor tacos (pork and pineapple), 1 Barbacoa (shredded beef) and 1 Cochinita (pork). All 4 were amazing.

The chicken fajitas and steak were both delicious and seasoned really well. The jalapeño watermelon margarita was solid and had a good kick. The salsa was decent, but I usually like it more blended than it was. The taxi driver (frozen marg/ sangria) could have been better. The service was great.

The conduct of employees and the rigid blends of the food are beneath professional standard. The atmosphere, is above average for Starkville Standards. I am an optimist, that the flaws of the establishment can be corrected. What is flawed is not beyond repair.

Addendum: Uno Mas contacted me via email and was able to fix this situation. Part of the mix-up had to do with the order going through in a location other than the one which was intended. I appreciate Uno Mas’s management working to resolve the situation without accusing or blaming, but just fixing an issue. It’s always a good thing when an establishment can take a problem and move towards a solution. We’ll plan on visiting the establishment to eat next time we’re in town!
I had high hopes to enjoy this place and put in an order on Uno Mas’s website about 40 minutes before they closed. I then called 10 minutes later to be sure the food would be ready on time, at which time I was told the kitchen was closed early due to low orders. I was frustrated but told the manager I understood. She said I’d be refunded, but this was not immediately done. See addendum above.

What an absolute disgrace of a staff. A paying patron was mocked and intentionally misnamed on multiple occasions, this kind of childish, unprofessional behavior you’d expect from a high school cafeteria, not an establishment trying to present itself as upscale.
Instead of correcting their behavior, the staff doubled down, targeting the patron who paid to consume beverages allowing other underage university students without hesitation to consume on the premise without question. The hypocrisy towards this individual was unreal.
UNO MAS should be embarrassed. If you want to be treated like a joke by employees who think harassment and unprofessionalism is customer service, this is the place. Otherwise, avoid it.

ROACHES. Two COCKROACHES at the bar ran under CC machine and the other COCKROACH was under my food. Told woman working there about the COCKROACHES. She said nothing and took my payment even though i just started. Left note for manager about the COCKROACHES. Multiple code violations noted. I would never eat here if you have options. COCKROACHES, and they did not care. Posting other places as well to warn others that don’t like COCKROACHES in their food. I paid full bill and tipped. Get it together owner/manager. I wonder if the owner/manager reads these. I left this place and went to Commodore Bob’s for dinner. Great Service, clean, open kitchen floor plan and best of all, no COCKROACHES.
