KUSH was almost missed out on my trip and I am so glad I didn’t miss it. On the last full day of my Miami trip, it came up again as an option and this time, we jumped at it and we do not regret it. Kush in Brickell was my favorite spot of the trip for food. We didn’t eat large, sharing multiple appetizers, but all 3 we had were excellent: alligator strips, bang bang shrimp, and chili cheese fries. All 3 appetizers were 10/10. The alligator strips were delicious with the two sauces they were served with. The bang bang shrimp was delicious with old bay seasoning on the plate. The chili cheese fries were the best I ever had. The chili was so good. The service was also excellent and attentive at all times even though it was lunch time and there were other people in the establishment. The whole vibe and atmosphere were excellent overall. Our server was fantastic, the food was fantastic, and I loved the theme of the restaurant and the funny memorabilia and sayings on the wall.

The fact that Kush Hospitality resurrected and paid tribute to Tobacco Road in this fashion is not to be overlooked. Everything about this place is five stars, and the way that it is decorated is ridiculously dope. My bartender was Tina, who was such a sweetheart. I even made a piece of art for her. I thoroughly enjoyed my Death Burger, and my non-alcoholic cocktail, and I really enjoyed making art while I was hanging out there. I will definitely be back and I definitely would recommend.

Tina was amazing. You know why? Before we even complained, she already knew the food was late. When she brought our dishes, she said, “I know this is not our standard, this one is on us.”

Total waste of time and money. We came here expecting a decent Brickell pub experience and got the opposite. The food was terrible, overcooked, and took forever to come out, like they forgot about us.
The service was even worse, especially from the two male waiters. They messed up our order, seemed completely lost, and had no clue what they were doing. The worst part was that they noticed our group was international, so they added dishes we never ordered, basically padding the bill. That’s not confusion, that’s shady. Hope the owner realize that the customers are being scammed in his restaurant
And the signature burger was a joke. It had massive chunks of guava in it. It honestly felt like the chef was high on Kush or drunk because nothing about it made sense.
Not in a million years am I coming back. Do yourself a favor and don’t go, this place doesn’t deserve to be in Brickell.

Walking down the strip in Brickell there are a ton of options. Kush was perfect. Kush stood out for its menu and divey ambiance, and was also recommended by the hostess at Moxie.

The service was amazing- Sergio and Savanah, thank you for making us feel so welcome. The bartenders were attentive, chill, and poured perfectly delicious drinks. The food- don’t underestimate this place. Best ribs I’ve ever had: three day brine, delicious and tender, meat falling perfectly off the bone. The sauces were on point – try the Spicy Maple BBQ. The burger was solid and the brine wings were perfectly crispy and juicy at the same time. Loved it. 10/10 would recommend.

Finally, a chill neighborhood pub with fantastic service that pours reasonably strong cocktails and actually knows how to make a proper plate of nachos (perfect goop to chip ratio)!

My husband and I used to go to Kush in Wynwood. We tried this location and it was one of the worst experiences. Our waitress, Savannah, barely checked in on us. She would actually pass our table to check on the table next to us and then speed past us on her way back. The manager locked eyes with me multiple times knowing that we were waiting for 30+ minutes for our burgers. He didn’t check on us either. I watched my burger get cold in the window for 15 minutes as they made my husband’s burger. People that came in after us were served before us and even paid and left before we were served. My husband’s burger was hot but mine and the fries were cold. It wasn’t even a good burger. We will not be returning to this location.
Response to Kush: This was not a staffing issue other than the staff that you have has no interest in customer service. This did not happen yesterday. The server was not overwhelmed but tables and in fact had plenty of time to stand around. The manager wasn’t busy either. He could have come to the table or checked on our food for us. Also, this happened as we were coming back from my husband’s surgery which required him to fast. He hadn’t eaten in 40 hours! When I asked Savannah why our food took so long, her claim was that there was a big to go order. I then said that other people came in after, ordered, ate, paid, and left. Her excuse was they didn’t order burgers. Then she tacked on a 20% tip to our bill which she did not work for. Customers should have the right to determine tip based on service. She knew she did poorly. Even if it was about a to go order, both burgers should have been cooked at the same time.

We had visited their sister restaurant LoKal in Coconut Grove and absolutely loved their burgers and vibe, so when we were in Brickell, we decided to check out Kush Brickell. We just walked in on a whim for lunch, no reservations needed, and were seated right away. No lines or haters here,just a welcoming spot that felt like a natural extension of what we enjoyed at LoKal.

This place channels a fun, retro Miami vibe with nods to the historic Tobacco Road bar it’s reviving: think speakeasy-era decor, lively energy, and a mix of communal tables and bar seating for about 40-50 people. It’s cozy yet buzzing, with music that’s upbeat but not overwhelming, and a casual, hipster-casual crowd. Perfect for a laid-back lunch in Brickell.
MENU:
Burgers are the star, alongside sandwiches, wings, salads, and appetizers. They’ve got a solid selection of craft beers, cocktails like margaritas, and even some Miami-inspired twists. It’s all about elevated pub fare with local flair. They also feature homemade hot sauces for that extra kick.

This was the highlight and why we came. The burger was cooked to medium as requested, super fresh, and came with crispy fries on the side. We amped it up further with their homemade hot sauce, which added an additional kick of heat and tanginess without overwhelming the dish. If you’re a spice lover, this is a must-try; it ranks up there with some of the best burgers we’ve had in Miami.
SERVICE:
No reservations, but we were seated quickly on a weekday. The waiter was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu,our server recommended the Death Burger based on our love for LoKal’s offerings. Food came out fast and hot.
