It is a little difficult to get to because of the construction barrels that block the entrance for people coming from Fort Collins and traveling south as the left turn is blocked. Not the restaurants fault but we drove past trilby, pulled a u-turn and made it.
Appetizers:
Chicken satay
Tempura Shrimp
Main Dishes:
Sweet and Sour Chicken (Medium)
Pad See Ew Noodles Seafood (Medium)
Review:
The place is very clean and we walked in and were sat. We kept with water but they do serve teas and coke products. We ordered the two appetizers and they were out quickly.. Both were quite good. Chicken Satay had a robust flavor to the chicken and the chicken was well cooked not over done. The dipping sauce for the chicken was a nice compliment to the dish.
The tempura shrimp came out 1st and was also good. A consistent light crunch to each shrimp and the sauce was also quite good.
Our main food came out about 10 minutes after and both dishes were good. The medium heat is just enough to get your attention. I think for most if you ordered hotter just to get hotter it would detract from the flavor profiles. The chicken in the sweet and sour was cooked well and not dry. The seafood noodle dish with those wide noodles was tasty.
Overall Impressions:
They have just opened so I think they will get better at timing in regards to bringing dishes out at the same time as well as knowing when and when not to approach customers. My only real complaint is that they have a rather loud and annoying bell that goes off every time the front door moves a little even of no one enters the restaurant. It went off alot because it was windy outside and the door was moving. That should be removed immediately. It makes it sound like you are pulling into a gas station and you run over that alarm hose that rings a bell. Its unnecessary and a huge distraction. If your employees are eyes up and situationally aware they will or should know when people are coming and going. Its your job to know.
This food is good and we paid just under 50.00 for dinner which I think is very reasonable.
Happy eating everyone!
Overall, it was great! We will be back.
Give this place a try- the food is great
