Not bad at all, but there’s always room for improvement 🙂

Look, sometimes I crave a salad with a dozen different ingredients and sweetgreen is a convenient way to satisfy that craving. It makes more sense to buy a somewhat overpriced salad here from time to time than to go to the store, pick out all the ingredients, make wild rice, roast sweet potatoes, buy/make a dressing, cook broccoli, etc. just to have a salad.

With all that said, I’m still a little disappointed at the quality of food compared to the price.

◻️ This last salad I received had what was probably the world’s driest tofu. It was practically hollowed out and super foamy in texture.

It’s always a risk going for the mixed greens, which is my favorite base. Plan to spend several minutes sifting through to remove any nasty, slimy, or yellowing bits.

My boyfriend also complained that he selected herbed quinoa as one of his two base items and received around a heaping spoonful of unseasoned quinoa in his salad. Not much of a base.

I don’t know why but I always seem to be missing at least one of the salad dressings I order, which is arguably (it is) the most important part.

Will I continue to order from sweetgreen when that craving hits? Possibly.
Will I regret it and wish I’d found a Mendocino Farms instead? Probably.

Follow my adventures!

I’m a loyal, daily Sweetgreen customer (which can be verified from my rewards app), and I’ve always loved your food — especially the Autumn Harvest Bowl. But lately, things have really gone downhill.

A few days ago at the Hollywood location, they were out of the cold sweet potato — one of the key reasons I love that salad. The thinly sliced, chilled sweet potato gives it so much of its flavor and texture, so being offered warm, chunky sweet potato “at no extra cost” honestly threw me off. It’s not really a fair swap when it changes the entire bowl.

They were also out of bread — again. This has become a regular issue, and many times I have been given stale/dry bread. The day before, they were running low on wild rice and Brussels sprouts, and the staff had to scrape the bottom of the container just to fill the scoop. This happens not just at the Hollywood store, but at West Hollywood too, so it’s clearly not a one-time thing.

As someone who literally goes every day, it’s frustrating to see how inconsistent the experience has become. The staff should really be mindful of how much customers are paying — nearly $20 a salad — and take a little more care with portions. Too often it feels rushed, with scoops barely filled and ingredients thrown together without much attention.

I actually reached out to Sweetgreen directly before posting this, just to give them a chance to respond or make things right. But they didn’t even acknowledge my message, let alone offer a reply or compensation.

It’s disappointing, because I truly love Sweetgreen and want to keep supporting it. But the lack of consistency, care, and response has made me start rethinking my daily routine.

Unfortunately, we ordered three plates of food, and none of them were edible. We had the honey BBQ and ranch steak, which was raw, gray, and excessively greasy. The other two dishes were salmon tacos; the salmon was overcooked, and the taco chips were just crumbs from the bottom of the bag. The employees didn’t even bother to cut the avocado.

We picked up our order on time, but it was ice cold. This entire experience has been a waste of money, and I must insist on a refund. As an update on my order review, both my colleague and I experienced a severe stomach ache, and one of us ended up in the hospital. I feel terrible about her situation and embarrassed for suggesting that restaurant.

Came here with my bf and it’s always the same usual one tiny scoop of protein, looks like a big bowl but just full of 80% romaine lettuce. Not to mention the workers looked at us like we were stupid even though it was our first time. Was talking to her and she kept turning around to look at her colleague and laugh. Two different bowls too lol. Anyways, up your protein I feel like I’m eating air.

I have no idea why I have continued to spend my money here. Each visit, somehow ends up worst than the last. I have visited several different locations but this one wins the award for the WORST Sweetgreens location. There is never a line when I go yet it takes SEVERAL minutes to be acknowledged while on my lunch break. 1 week ago, I asked for bread, I get back to work, no bread. 5 days ago, no spring mix and they give me STALE bread. Today, no steak, no bread. How? Reiterating that every visit takes them several minutes to acknowledge me AND every visit the pricing is different. this place is unorganized, no urgency, inconsistent. District manager obviously doesn’t do their job in supervising since EVERY visit has been abhorrent. Crazy thing is, I’m not invisible, they see me at the counter but I’m obviously not an important customer and my lunch break time is not respected. Strange vibes. Skip this place and go to a different one. They do not care.
Lastly, there were flies near the broccoli ingredients area today.

I was in Hollywood and wanted to eat something friendly to the diet I’ve been eating lately. Sweet Green is a place I’ve enjoyed before so I stopped here. I had a Hot Chicken Plate. It was tasty and healthy.

Best sweetgreen bowl I had by far. The portioning was great. I got a create your own bowl: spring mix, wild rice, caramelized garlic steak, pickled onion, sweet potatoes, red cabbage, egg, avocado, red cabbage w/bbq sauce, hot sauce & lime. It was delicious and very filling. Would order from this location again.
