This little place looks like a Dairy Queen but has a old time diner feel on the inside. Burgers, crinkle fries, tenderloins, and ice cream are the heart of its offerings. It also houses a Pizza King with a limited menu. There is a drive through option. It’s one of those places that if you eat inside, you will hear what is being said at everyone else’s table and likely join in as most people know everyone else. The vibe is old school retro, the people are friendly, and the food is classic Hoosier.
TIP- they don’t take cards so come with cash or be prepared to use the ATM inside.

We were in on 8/2 around twelve o’clock. We ordered ahead 2 orders of breadsticks.They asked what we wanted, took our name,took our phone number, told us our total and that it would be about ten minutes. My sixteen year old daughter , who is literally the most polite teenager you will ever meet told her the name and she was so rude and nasty to her. She said yeah, you never placed an order.I don’t have an order for you What did you want to order?You still haven’t told me what you want!! Another woman proceeded to come out and said I have her order right here! She came out to the car practically in tears. This woman has no business working in the public.I will never be back and I persuade you not to spend your hard earned money at a place that condones their employees treating payed customers like this.

This place is a bit of nostalgia for us. What time the knightstown to go to the cemetery to visit my mother-in-law’s grave… We always stop by here to get a hot sub and a cherry milkshake…. Those were her favorites.

You try to order things that show on their menu accessible online.. they tell you they don’t have that and offer you something you can go buy at DG and make yourself. Tried 4 places in town town eat today, I ended up eating at home because it’s absolutely ridiculous trying to get places to serve people but instead employees act like you’re bothering them.. AT THEIR JOBS..
